具体每个州的规定最好是直接去看那个州具体的条文和案例。
很多州都有dog-bite status, 规定狗主人要对自家狗造成的伤害（不一定是bite）付
责任。基本来说，只要是狗对别人造成了伤害，不管主人当时是否试图阻止，都要付责
任。而受伤者也不用去举证狗主人做错了什么。
比如，明尼苏达的规定：
If a dog, without provocation, attacks or injures any person who is acting
peaceably in any place where the person may lawfully be, the owner of the
dog is liable in damages to the person so attacked or injured to the full
amount of the injury sustained.
受伤者必须证明：
1，自己因为对方狗而受伤（不一定是被咬，也许是冲着他吼导致他自己摔了一跤的话

我国内本科会计学分评估后，business law 学分不够，准备找附近社区大学补修，可
是社区大学bl很基础没有cover uniform commercial code, 现在很苦恼，找了lsu网上
课程，但是正好这两名课程关闭。不知道该去哪补修这个学分，不知道版上大侠有没有
类似经验，还有到时候报名审查到底严不严格！

得了去美国留学的机会。我开始在美国俄亥俄州立大学读博， 于五年后获得微生物学
博士（Ph.D.）学位。读博士期间一直都有微薄的奖学金，每个月大概1400到1800美刀
。美国俄亥俄的消费比较便宜，所以生活的马马虎虎。在俄亥俄第一次学会了开车。是
一个印度人免费教我的，觉得很感激他。学了几个星期之后，考驾照第一次就通过了。
在俄亥俄州立大学也学会了看美式橄榄球，很喜欢。后来毕业以后都很关心美国大学橄
榄球队的比赛。
在读博士期间，做了很多的实验，有时也挺辛苦的。有时周末也要去实验室干活。和老
板一起发表了五到六 篇文章。也教过本科生的课。

发帖数: 2 | 13 正式开始上课一周了，接下来的一周是确定课程的最后一周。大家ADD and DROP，一片繁
忙景象。
LLM一年的时间，客观的讲，两个学期最多选8门课，选什么课实在难以取舍。总结起来有
三条思路：
1、 选轻松的、容易拿A的课程，尽量保持全A，并腾出时间和教授套瓷。这样做的主要目
的是转JD。反正转了之后，有的是时间再好好学。这个思路我基本不予考虑，原因是如果
转不成，又没学到什么东西，实在损失太大。
2、 选一年级JD的基础课，contracts, property, torts之类的。优点很明显：为考BAR
扫清障碍，切实学习到美国法律的精髓，改造思维模式，打造理论功底。缺点是：某些东
西在国内已经接触过了，而且可能操作性较差。
3、 依据自己的背景和今后的打算，选一些二年级、三年级JD某一专业领域的课程。
我在国内大学本科毕业（学的不好，理论功底差），数年的银行工作经验。原本是依据背
景选了International Finance, Securities Regulations, Commercial Credit,

Yeah. It really depends. But I don't know how much more PhDs in Biological
Sciences learn on theories---we didn't really take many courses in graduate
schools. Though at least people who get into a good graduate school are those
who did well as undergraduates.

contract/civpro/crim/torts is 4cr. I will take civproII sometime. ContractII
is an elective that is not required.
You must have felt the same way---the most difficult part of law school is
time. With just one less course, life would be so much easier. With only two
courses, it feels like vacation:)---once in a while, we had only two courses
in a day.

everyday life, it is easier than other subjects to understand (at least for me
it is so). So I would recommend it if you just want to get a sense about what
it is. I don't think it's a good idea to read court opinions so early --
they'll do nothing to help but get you more confused.

有朋友即将在法学院就读，建议我写写关于法学院的学习方法和成绩问题。正好我最近
也在这个问题上有点归纳，于是正好写出来。
说学习方法因人而异，大概是太没有新意了，但这也是不得不说的话。我的同学中有成
天沉迷于电子游戏但一考起试来就拿全A的，也有每天看书到凌晨成绩还在均分以下的
。我估计是学得比较吃力的那类。不光如此，每门课的学习方法也不一样，应付考试的
方法也不同。在密歇根法学院的一个未经证实的传闻是： Contracts考得好的，Torts
必然考不好，反之亦然。这一规律似乎在我能打听成绩的人中（包括我自己）都得到体
现——当然，不包括那些全A的人。
具体成绩不方便说——我的成绩从第一学期到第二学期有不少进步，我觉得多半是由于
我从第一个学期以后总结出了一套比较适合自己的学习方法，在第二个学期里严格地按
照这个方法去做了，所以成绩长了不少。这个方法是这样的：

fraud. your understanding of "a duty to disclose the fraud" isn't right. a
example that came to my mind is that in the real estate transaction context
, whether the seller has a duty to disclose major damages to his/her
property to the buyer. this type of duty exists in many legal contexts.

government agencies. If you have kept all the evidence and sickness records
of the kids, you have a preety strong case in tort law suit, much more than
just the hotel fees, etc. There may have big punitive award too.
Check your local laws and code. Get a lawyer but don't just or only rely on
the lawyer.

lawyers and don't always do everything pro se. anyway, for one, check
corporate law in your state. for two, it can be both torts and criminal law,
and corporate law and/or bankruptcy law can get involved as well. |

Haven't read the case, but based on the little bit of info you provided, the
issue seems to be: whether the failure to warn a third party by the
original purchaser, who had the knowledge, means and opportunity to do so,
should shield the manufacturer or distributor from liability to the third
party harmed by the product.
Court's answer is yes.
Not sure about the rationale because that will depend on the entire case.
