要先拖到tow yard，当时在路中间也没多想就让拖了。现在觉得不对劲，回来

少了。

F150 limited － ，5座，EPA 16/22 MPG
Dodge Ram 1500 Diesel 3.6-liter V6 8速自动 EPA标记是 17/25 mpg。
这些都是能Towing 10，000lb的大车。相比之下：
途锐：17/23 MPG，towing 7000
X3, 21/28 MPG, towing 3500-5000
Q5, 2.0T 20/28MPG, 3.0T 18/26 MPG Towing < 5000
RX350, 18/25MPG, Towing 3500 - 此车就一垃圾，这么大发动机这么小的towing，变
速箱是纸糊的吧。
从多功能性，安全性上皮卡肯定完爆这四个车，价格反而不贵。

ridiculous. This program was about a semi-government facility. two examples
I can vaguely remember
1. one lady's car got towed, she went to pick up, but was refused, since the
car was still under her husbands name, but they divorced already - even

我觉的有必要科普一下这个车被拖了以后的权利义正视听
这个权利适用在arizona州，至于具体到其他州可以不可以自己具体
查或者问律师，另外一个前提就是你的车是被从一个private
parking lot拖走的，不是在马路上被警察开了违章停车的罚单之后
被拖走了之类的。

俺现在一台10 Odyssey， 一台12 QX56, Odyssey是家里使用频率最高的车。老婆平时
上下班，接送小孩，周末一大家子买菜吃饭，出门去国家公园。我平时就开开QX56上下
班，偶尔和LD单独开QX56出去吃个饭开开，使用频率很低。当时恰好Total了10-X5-35d
,比较注意Safety，外加Budget limited，没上13-GL350，上了看起来大大的QX56 (其
实内部空间大但是容积率小），现在比较后悔，应该上个F150 or Ram 1500.
Anyway, 有Truck的汗滴们，平时用Truck的时候多么？ 开起来感觉怎么样？ 觉得v6
truck 和 V8 truck 日常生活中能用出来明显的区别么？ 我应该买两排的么？ 感觉V8

一个原因是你无法预判你以后的需求，但是这个选项不是很简单就能自己upgrade上去的
另外一个重要原因是，原厂预装的tow package和一般的车散热是不一样的！特别是
trans的散热就算不拖东西也是非常有用的，tow package绝对不是仅仅加个挂钩那么简
单
有一些dealer卖SUV 只进货带tow选项的，对于dealer来讲，他们售后的成本也会低很
多，这也就是为什么你看中的很多车都已经预装了tow package

membership assistance。11年10月车底盘的serpentine belt在高速上断裂用过一次
car tow,covered 了六十块后还要付30多块的additional charge,还算不错。12年七月
份又是在高速上爆了一次胎，用了换胎service，没花钱。今天很不幸，下班回家的时
候车发动不起来。给CS打电话，回答是不能用tow service了，这个limit是only once
for lifetime!我读小字给接线生听“The Road & Tow program is limited to one (1
) tow and two (2) other services per 120-day period”,她没别的话好说就是很礼
貌地坚持我总共只能tow 一次。
这是不是我的英语阅读有问题啊，还是CS有了新规定？我也不好意思说这个program是
scam，毕竟还是让我省了一些钱。不过下次要换胎什么的，估计CS又有新借口不履行。

下午一点从家出发，路上加了油，和大佬会面的时候已经是下午两点半。下船后，大佬
给了方向，几竿之后，一条漂亮的小嘴被大佬拉上来。

风很大，往钓点开船的路上，走走停停，没有咬口，到了钓点，钓了4条10~13英寸的
crappie，大佬拉了一条13英寸的。

你赶紧往那个地方扔，我一杆扔到大佬刚才miss掉咬口的附近，立即被咬上，拉上一条

天擦黑，上岸后，故事开始了。
晚9：30，和大佬弄好船，准备走了，我回到车里发现驾驶座门开着，进了几只蚊虫，
于是我把车熄火，车灯关了，结果开着门关不掉阅读灯。我直接把车门锁了，结果还是
关不了阅读灯。
于是办了一件非常stupid的事情，下了车，顺手把车门带上。
车门关的那一瞬间，我反应过来，车钥匙没拿出来，昏倒。
想了一下，有问题，找警察。

有科学依据。不同的是换油那件事看穿的人越来越多了，知道当代发动机设计精密度已
经有很大进步，没有必要再3个月/3000迈一换油了。更多人的开始认真读厂家说明书，
根据那上面的换油间距来。
我每天下班有一个半迈的大下坡，经常车少的时候空档能一直60多迈滑到坡底。所以到
底上不上变速箱我搜过不是一次两次了，发现这个也是个myth，没有科学根据说明空档
的时候车速快，发动机慢，会造成变速箱油流通不够。
其实空档的时候车轮带动驱动轴旋转，变速箱你的齿轮根本就没有出力，也就没有做功
，产生的热很少，发动机虽然怠速，transmission fluid pump还是在运转的。所以我
见过的汽车说明书都没有说不能空档滑行，从D换到N。与之相应，如果车在费劲上山或
者拖东西，出很大力的时候，变速箱冷却就很重要了，可能还要加额外的cooler。像
Honda Pilot的towing option里面就附送transmission intercooler就是这个道理。

The person in the tow company told me that if nobody claims the car since it
is towed for three months, they are entitled to sell the car or send it to
junk yard. You'd better call them to see if the car is still there.

So to get your money they have to tow your car.
I totally agree with you these company are crazy and stupid, once towed my
car to a 20 miles away towing garage.... Can not understand..their tow truck

还有我对这个ticket存有疑问。那个meter写的是4pm没法投币了，4pm之后不能停车，
否则会被
tow away.我投币是到4pm的。然后4:05pm直接给了一张$45的ticket. 这种操作符合规
定吗？
既然写的是tow away，就应该tow啊。他不tow不是蒙骗我吗？ |

路上经常看到有拖车，一般是出了交通事故、爆了轮胎这些，这可以理解。假如是车子
各方面全部都完好，但还是在拖车上面，那一般就是开着开着半路出故障抛锚了。
刚才出去办事，去的时候路上看到这辆E350停在路边，发动机盖子下面一直在冒青烟。
办完事回来路上又碰上它，不过这回就变成照片里那个状态了（照片经过处理是因为防
止人肉——这个论坛上有一个人注册了n个马甲ID，人肉并且监视我好久了）。
想了一下，W212是09年7月开始上市的，那到现在刚好是4年整了。MB的北美保修期恰好
是4年，难怪路上抛锚的W212这几个月逐渐多起来了。顺便提醒一下，假如开车在路上
发现车子突然有不正常表现，尽快找安全地方停下来，必要的话打电话求救；千万不要
硬撑下去。

大概要行驶400多miles，所以我想请问一下是选择car carrier好还是tow dolly好？
car carrier就是把整个车开上去，tow dolly就是托住两个前轮。
被拖的车是前驱的，所以不知道如果我选择tow dolly的话拖400多miles会不会对车有

只要不超过厂家标的tow capacity，我都敢拖啊。所以如果6,000 lbs，v6 tacoma（车

几款车都是缺省的factory tow package能拖五六千磅，加了heavy-duty就能拖八九千
磅了。heavy-duty tow package包括大号的散热器，变速箱油冷，挂车的电子刹车控制
，还有低速比的后桥，有的还带trailer sway control。
拖车用四驱主要是把船从水里拖上来的时候，坡道会比较湿，如果没有四驱容易打滑。
如果不拖船或者拖的船很轻的话就无所谓了。至于平常如果不下雪的话一般是用不着四
驱的，跟车重不重关系不是太大。
