income over more than 10 yrs from trading "GE" and no one can deny he is a
successful trader although it is just 6 digit income a yr.

and there is fewer people could make big money through day trading
constantly.
I had some experience for making big bucks through short time trading and
thought the method could work for long time and it turned to be wrong when
lehman collapse and the method can't work effectively at all after that. |

他对散户炒股的一些看法。
1，不要认为自己能做FA，投资机构有专门的equties reseacher 做这个。几乎任何一
个公司都有专门的人在跟。从财务报表，到公司产品，到盈利模式，到前景预期，到和
公司管理层交流，reseacher都干。很多Analyst跟一个行业的某几个公司几年甚至十几
年，可能比这几个公司的CFO还熟。99%的散户再做一些看似有逻辑，似是而非的分析。
什么电池技术，什么玻璃技术，什么盈利能力这些早就有专门的人研究过了。所有的FA
的东西都已经price到股价里了。
2，不要跟消息。不是消息影响股价，是股价变化之后在消息里找原因，80%以上的消息
都是用来解释的，不是原因。例如主力打算做空某只股票，都计划好了，怎么办怎么办
，就等一条负面消息就开始砸。事后散户一分析，哦，今天出了坏消息，所以股价跌了

A few candlesticks pattern tells you the trapped trader. I just give a few
examples: Abandoned baby, morning star, hammer . Kick.
Hammer needs confirmation. Kick is usually a good news or after earning. If
it opens too high after good earning, it may be not working. There three
ways after a stock gaps up : Gap up and go, gap up sideway, gap up and fade.
If it goes lower than opening price, it means sell pressure is so big. I
usually wait for 5 minutes. |

格迥然不同，很容易区分。也看过无数华语论坛的交易贴。我觉得白人和华人炒股人士
的知识结构可能有一些典型不同。
1. 绝对人数讲，华人多一些，白人少一些。华人心理门槛低，想炒就炒了，没考虑太
多，包括我在内，学知识主要靠自学，买几本书甚至网上找一些免费资料就学起来了。
而白人要么不炒股，如果炒股就当作专业来做，self education观念挺强，交几千刀学
费去附近学校上一门investment基础课，开户没多久就开始做自己的交易系统。对很多
白人来讲，炒股就等于自动交易，也许美国电脑普及早，70年代就开始流行，即使50岁
的人也是小学甚至幼儿园就开始玩电脑，对他们来说编程learning curve最陡的一段早
就过了。
2. 有些美国交易员显示出强烈的纪律执行力，有时候坚守纪律到不近人情，甚至冲击
到我从小被灌输的中国特色价值观。其实这可能是西方和东方文化的根本分歧之一，德
国日耳曼和俄罗斯战斗民族更是为了坚持理念不要命，各有利弊。不过就股市交易来说

在还没看"security analysis" 之前, 我听好几个FA高手零零碎碎的讨论, 大意就是说
value investing是bottom up 而不是 top down 的. 也不管大势怎么样,只要公司有价
值就好了.
看了过后, 觉得是个误差. 原来Benjamin Graham非常注重宏观经济. 他主要不是用来
预测短期经济的或大盘走势,他是要用宏观经济的状况来估价股票.
要知道整体的earnings是宏观经济的缩影. 正因为这个关系, 也影响了人们对

是这样的，股票操作很多，亏了几万，但是如果用 capital loss, 一年只能deduct
3000, 想多deduct 一些， 决定用古板精华区介绍的方法去抵税， 作为 day trader,
把 loss 算成 business expense 放在 Schedule C 里面。
我的情况是这样的，不知道能不能算day trader,
有正常job
但是操作很多，大半年买卖了300多次，26页的statement,大多是同一只股票。
试了一下那turbo tax, Schedule D里面的 P/L 不能转到 C里面去，估计不能 e-file,
还得手动搞。
那个 M-to-M election是今年4/15之前就可以还是必须去年？我去年才刚刚开始搞。
有搞这个的同志吗？一起讨论一下 |
