周一凌晨，皮尔森国际机场附近的Tasty Bite Restaurant，19岁的Nitish Khanna由于与一群陌生人发生口角，被数人用高尔夫球杆活活打死。警方称，凌晨两点，警方在现场发现受害男子有“明显的创伤(obvious signs of trauma)”。

symptoms of PTSD during and after the Japanese invasion. Every Chinese
grow up asking themselves: Why do we deserve this? What did we do wrong?
Especially when there was never a closure, a real apology from the
perpetuators. (We got some "Now I'm sorry, now I'm not sorry" kind of
apology, that doesn't really count.)

国内的堂兄年初发生车祸，多人受伤，其中11岁的儿子眼睛伤情严重，有失明的可能。
希望版上这方面的专家能提供一些治疗眼睛外伤 （Ocular Trauma） 恢复的最新信息。
车祸情况：
2010年元月3日堂兄一家（还有嫂子和侄子）开车探亲回家，高速上因地面结冰出了小
车祸车不能开了，于是找姐夫和一个司机开另外一辆车去接。那天路上车祸奇多，高速
路上到处是停下处理车祸的车辆。他们在一个车祸现场堵着不能走，就下来给伤员帮忙
（堂兄从事医疗行业），小侄子则好心地给伤员拿吃的和水。这时后面一辆政府官员的
开路车高速冲过来，因为地滑刹不住冲进人群，造成多人重伤，所幸无人死亡。具体伤
情：
姐夫内脏受伤，肠子断了，在结冰的地上躺了近两个小时，几乎冻死（那天车祸太多加
上路况不好，救护车很晚才来）。

开来老外对肖的手术还是评价还是不错的，首先觉得很新颖很有趣，其次有些手术效果

吧。也就是一个社区医院，服务BRIDGEPORT COMMUNITY。
从规模看，连前10位都排不上。连LEVEL 2 TRAUMA CENTER都不是。
规模比较大的医院，UC，NW，UIC，LOYOLA，COOK COUNTY， RUSH，CHRIST，MT SINAI CENTRAL DUPAGE。。。。。。。就连08年关闭的MICHAEL REESE医院，都比MERCY大多了。 |

一般大小医院ER的区别主要是在处理创伤上。这个有明显分级。TRAUMA有
LKEVEL1LEVEL2到LEVEL4之分。普通社区医院都是最多到LEVEL2。从LEVEL2转到LEVEL1一般就是直升机了。
LEVEL2一般几个大点的TOWN就会有一个。
至于心梗中风什么的处理起来都差不多。 |

A female student gang-raped on a bus in India's capital Delhi has died at a
Singapore hospital, doctors say.
"The patient passed away peacefully at 4:45am on 29 Dec 2012," a statement

的美籍华人，而是美国公众人物。她是奥巴马政府商业部下一个国家咨询委员的委员，
算是“奥巴马智囊”，去年刚被国土安全部移民局授予“杰出归化美国人”称号，其新
书上了《纽约时报》畅销书榜单，所有这一切，都与其中美两重天的“人生传奇”分不
开。现在其在中国的“人生传奇”被众多华人指出是捏造、虚构的，该公众人物的诚信
遭到质疑，不值得报道出来让美国公众知道吗？
但是我给十来个曾经采访过我的美国记者写信让他们关注一下此事，只有一个回复
说会留意一下。他们未必觉得此事没有新闻价值，很可能是觉得报道它属于政治“不正
确”，有替中国说话之嫌——设想一下，如果是一本美化中国的畅销书被发现充斥谎言
，美国媒体恐怕早就一哄而上了。倒是有欧洲和澳洲的媒体主动来联系我要做有关报道

Detectives were looking for any signs of trauma on her body or other clues
