过来，就算commute的时间长，也只是坐着。 领导每天开车的话，每天来回2-3小时，
太累了担心安全，特别是冬天。
从WW到NYC有直达的火车么？ 大概要多久？ 我也可以往纽约那边换工作试试看。 |

发帖数: 4 | 25 写一篇关于在Jersey City找房子的体会吧。 住在这儿，大多数是为了去城里上班，无
论是midtown还是downtown， PATH都非常方便，车多而且可以到很晚，是LIGHTRAIL没
法比的。 如果不是去城里，这个优势是浪费了。当然，如果你的工作地点在PATH沿线
，也不错。 可供选择的就是以下几个区域：
1. Newport/Waterfront：水边的几个HIGHRISE，景色好，价格贵，一般一居室$
2200 往上，Studio 也要1600，还是你运气好。
2. Downtown （Paulus Hook）， Grand St.往南， Van Vorst St. 往东，包括
Sussex, Morris, Essex, Warren, Greene, Washington, Hudson这几条街。 这里主要
是从事金融行业的白领居住地，房价和waterfront/Newport差不多，这里的房子年代久
一些，有很多brownstone的小楼，环境非常好，离Grove St.或是Exchange Pl距离差不

Cranford (这个是 union county 唯一比较严重的）
New Brunswick
Trenton
不过最严重的应该是 fairfield/little falls/wayne 这一带，今年已多次被淹。
对淹的不严重的 TOWN 也有灾情严重的房子，不能买 flooding zone or flooding
risk high 的房子是王道，淹一次就全完。 |

quite similar. Closing to Princeton Junction (walking distance to train
station) is even more pricy. If you work in NYC, you d better buy houses in
west Windsor and not plainsboro, because you can be put on a much shorter
wait list than if you live in plainsboro for the parking at the station.
For condos, Princeton Landing is very up graded. East windsor is cheaper,
