program to match the potential/progress of a single student in the class,
then you are wrong. Never heard of such special treatment in any school.
The difference between school learning and private tutoring is similar
to that between a group lesson and private lesson in piano. I am sure
most parents in this forum understand what I mean.

her engaged and I have really seen this work as far as her ability to learn
new vocabulary, improve her reading skills and problem solving. I would
really recommend this to parents out there as a nice alternative to all the
normal "fun" video games. It is developed by college professors and

group lesson in Math for him when he was four and a half. He was the
youngest in the class and the teacher just placed him next to her desk. So
he was accustomed to extra classes after (pre)school at a young age. Then
when James was 8 years old in third grade, we hired his first private tutor
and the subject is Chemistry. Less than a year later, we hired a Physics

of them. Then you can check their reputations using Yelp, Google, etc. Read
all the comments about them, good or bad. Finally you can try out a tutor
for a month. If not satisfied, switch. But once you find a good tutor or
turtor service company, stick to him/her/them. |

发帖数: 11 | 27 我儿子现在4岁.从1岁半起在我学校的附属幼儿园全时'上学',3岁升到preschool.他属于比较胆小,比较乖的小孩.他的老师前不久还对我说,我儿子是个很好的学生,很听话,而且从没有过aggressive behavior.
1个月前我离开了学校.因为接送太不方便,我们只好给他找了另一个幼儿园"tutor time",就是用熊猫做标志的连锁幼儿园.
我儿子是感恩节那周周一开始去新幼儿园的.周三晚上7点,我们突然接到幼儿园电话,说周五不让我儿子去了.他被开除了,还是立即执行.因为他曾经自己开了教室的门,想追爸爸.
我们很生气,因为我儿子从1岁半起上幼儿园,对幼儿园的规则很熟悉了.以前的老师对他的评价又那么好,从没有过任何事故.周三我老公送儿子时觉得儿子的情绪不好，想陪儿子多呆一会儿.是老师催他走,说交给她们没问题.老师应该对孩子想找爸爸的行为有准备.幼儿院以我儿子的行为威胁到其他小孩的安全为由,被立刻开除.但他自己开教室的门不是老师处理不当造成的么?
而且,我们这里幼儿园都是按周收钱的.也就是说,我们假如周五撞大运,能给他找到一个幼儿园,我们要为那一天付一周的钱.tutor time则只 |

是同一个意思。
然后觉得应该请一个writing tutor，这一年就好好的练练。
就在自己的校友网发了个告示，然后应者还比较多，选了几个看上去觉得比较靠普的聊
了几下，现在还做决定，有点难决定，毕竟是头次请writing tuor..
A。写了几本小说。觉得对文字语言组织挺不错。住在同个town.
B。专业的writing tutor. 但是不是在同个town,只能是通过电话或是视频，或是
google document进行互动。
C。专业的grant writer. 住在同个town,而且收费是A或B的一半。
D。有我需要的专业背景,平常做开consulting..但是不是同个town.
哎，请这种writing tuor,一般要看什么？ 我是真的觉得自己的写作必须提高，但是不
知道该如何提高。反正看了各种写作书也不少，就是没有成功应用过。
有点决定不下，所以上来问一下。
