，越来越像小大人了，养个小人儿是最有成就感的事情了。分享几条小趣事：
不晓得为什么小朋友就是喜欢念重字呢，似乎是天性么，杯杯，饭饭，碗碗，菜菜，肉
肉，大人从不刻意这么教，可是小朋友开始都会学成重字，慢慢慢慢才会变换成杯子，
饭菜，等等。这里有个好笑的事情，最近小人儿在听这首西游记（唐僧骑马咚那个咚，
后面跟着个孙悟空。孙悟空，跑得快，后面跟着个猪八戒。猪八戒，鼻子长，后面跟着
个沙和尚。沙和尚，挑着担，后面来了个老妖怪。老妖怪，真正坏，一心想吃那唐僧肉
。 多亏孙悟空眼睛亮。高高举起金箍棒。金箍棒，有力量，妖魔鬼怪消灭光。），谁
听过这个儿歌？我们从前从没听过这首，挺新鲜的，有点像rap，虽然小人儿还不怎么
会自己完整的念，但是能断断续续跟着大人溜，每句的最后1，2字会脱口而出，比如他
爸～～念唐僧骑马，他会接～～咚那个咚，呵呵，最后，他爸念到～～老妖怪，真正坏
，一心想吃那，没想到小人儿居然接了个～～肉肉，脸上的表情颇为无辜天真，哈哈哈
，笑死人了，老妖怪想吃肉肉了，还是小人儿想吃肉肉了？

这个朋友对孩子的教育很感兴趣，所以就谈起来了中美教育问题。
当听了我的”English is not Math friendly“的理论后，惊呼你怎么不早说啊！
然后把她在中国出生和长大的２岁半的儿子叫了过来，表演了一下英文数数。
孩子从 one 到 ten都比较清晰，eleven twelve 也还好，thirteen之后就有个别混乱
到了 twenty之后又好了，最后数到了 twenty-ten，就跑了。
朋友说这个事情刚刚发生没两个星期，
本来孩子数数到 twenty-nine之后停在那里思考，结果孩子爸多嘴说了个 twenty-ten，
然后就像被内化了一样，twenty-nine之后就是twenty-ten，
家长尝试改了几次都没改过来，发愁死了。

上次写过一些。这次再写一点（其实还有好多呢）。
首先，要理解下面这段文字，需要 UN-LEARN number in English。 能做到么？
现在听这个故事——
小朋友是有数感的。
数感是对数字的最原始的理解能力，包括排序、相等不相等、大小之类的。
数感在3岁就已经有了，甚至是更小的年龄。
好啦，现在你开始教小朋友学数学啦。
先开始学英语数数吧——
one，two three four five......nine, ten, eleven, twelve,
继续数 thirteen, fourteen,.... ninteen, twenty
然后你又教小朋友下一个是 twenty-one， twenty-two，....
现在小朋友已经学到了 twenty-nine， 你不教他下一个数字。
你猜小朋友下一个会数什么？
这个故事我就先说到这里。

2年前，我給一些数学老师做了seminar，我讲的题目是介绍中国的算盘。
（自吹一下——虽然很久没摸过算盘，但那些口诀指法都还历历在目。）
其中我延伸出了一个问题——Dyscalculia （特殊教育的专业词汇——运算障碍）
例子是：为什么美国小朋友会写 17 ＋ 46 ＝ 513 这样的算式？
做seminar的那个时候，我介绍说如果用算盘作数学的 manipulatives，
不管你是从高位向低位加，还是低位往高位加，都不可能凭空多出一位。
那就会避免这个 Dyscalculia 问题。
其实这个思考还不够深刻。
后来我认识到的是————英语，没错，就是英语，才是罪魁祸首。
在中文里面，数字就是一到十。
超过了十，就是两个数字了，自然而然就有了“位”的概念。
而英语里面，从 one 到 twelve 都是独立的*一*个词。
这里插一嘴：其实大部分人不知道——
eleven 的词源是 "（拿走10）剩1"，twelve 的词源是“（拿走10）剩2”。
后面的 thirteen.....ninteen 仍然还是*一*个词

speaking English，先举了个例子：
读出下面一串数字，4，8，5，3，9，7，6，闭上眼睛花20秒时间记住它们，然后复述
。如果母语是英语，有50%可能失败，如果是中文，"success is almost guaranteed"。
中文的 Memory span 是9个数字，英文是7个，广东话可以达到10个。
后面还有小孩数数的例子，四岁的中国小孩平均可以数到40，美国小孩“painfully
counted up to 15”。美国小孩跟中国小孩数到12都没问题，13以上美国小孩就开始遇
到困难了。中文里的十进制比较简单，而英文里要学1-10，11-19，十位的20-90。美国
小孩数数可能会数出“twenty-eight, twenty-nine, twenty-ten,twenty-eleven”来
