岁月。这种失落感是很强的，所以立刻自动和你保持距离，及时止损。
解决的办法就是适当的时候给点颜色看看，让她知道别太天真了，早点放弃幻想，不然
后果更严重。当然这也有一定的风险，她不愿意也可以拍拍屁股走人，但是走就走吧，

中间好几次考试都要committee同意过关才能到论文那一步，绝对不是临毕业时现抓的。
那个aple先说自己看了章程只提到undergrad，我打他脸下面一段就是graduate，他又
顾左右而言它说committee member是毕业前临时找的，这不是瞎说么。
我不相信普林斯顿关于committee member不能date研究生的章程是后加的。类似的条款
，很多学校都会有。

久就形成的。一般都是过了qualify的笔试之后一到两学期要oral的时候才组建。而且
也不是固定且持久的，不敢说全部，但至少大部分都只在oral和最后defense的时候给
予建议，但过不过主要还是看导师。

downtown开。下了点小雨。前面的一辆车到了十字路口，刹车灯亮了一下，忽然车头就
甩向左边，整个车横在路中间。一半车身在我这个lane，另一半车身在对面来车的lane
。那段路正好是个大下坡，我吓坏了，生怕撞上去，下意识的一脚踩死了刹车。
downtown本来大家开的都不快，所以一下就刹停了。只见前面那辆车不紧不慢的把车头
打正，又回到了我们原来那条lane上，我才启动跟上去，换到他右边那条lane去了。
到了下一个路口，我开过去正好红灯，于是停下等。左面正好是那辆刚刚打滑的车，我
不由得多看了两眼。坐在旁边的小mm发现了，急忙提醒：“Don’t look at him! He
may show you a gun!”我一想很对，就改盯着灯看了。还好那家伙没真掏出枪来。
现在想起来也觉得有点害怕：也许不该刹车那么急，万一后面的车跟的太近撞上我们，
那也是麻烦事……当时应该多看一眼后视镜来着。还有，虽然烤肉啦开着软绵绵的，刹
车还真管用！说刹就刹住了。 |

vocabulary to explain in non-technical terms.
Watching more movies or TV help too. I find in general comedy, youth movies,
