As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;
there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God.
All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one
who does good, not even one."
"Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of
vipers is on their lips."

OK, I am not going to wait.
No good deed goes unpunished。

So would you revisit your rules on Newbie which is not NB obviously?
" No good deed goes unpunished" possibly better describes her experiences on

No good deed goes unpunished

I brought this up because of the controversy.
Apparently the attending did a right thing(to his wife) but legally wrong(to
the patient). The attending's first sentance was right. But the 2nd one
suggested her LD has HIV. This is violation of HIPPA.
How to warn the party? Read this please(it was in my post):

The summary is what I've said above. Do it legally, not just do it right. Or
you will taste the bitterness: No good deed goes unpunished.

Warnings Against Folly
1 My son, if you have put up security for your neighbor,
if you have shaken hands in pledge for a stranger,
2 you have been trapped by what you said,
ensnared by the words of your mouth.
3 So do this, my son, to free yourself,
since you have fallen into your neighbor’s hands:
Go—to the point of exhaustion—[a]
and give your neighbor no rest!
4 Allow no sleep to your eyes,
no slumber to your eyelids.

but with humility comes wisdom.
3 The integrity of the upright guides them,

3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do,
