只要你第二张卡在你的secured card满一年的时候就申请到手
然后关secured card
也就是损失一年信用记录。。
不算很亏
毕竟转成unsecured以后 那张卡也未必用得上 |

with ITIN(co-signer?)，被告知会报告给三大局；
上已经显示“BankAmericard Platinum Plus Visa”了，总算有一张卡了：）。确认一
下背景：刚拿到ITIN不到两周，在BOA有checking和saving两个月了。不过这个卡缺点
是即使未来变成unsecured card，那个annual fee还是carry over(即使convert成本来
没annual fee的type），网上看似乎除了靠运气，基本不能waive掉，只能两年后关了
它，再开一个regular cc了。
上搜了搜，看网上众说纷纭，所以干脆自己试验了一下： |

只有checking acct开户行BOA给我批了张就500CL的unsecured credit card先用着，但
是credit report上已经挂了5个hard pull..
这张BOA的卡我已经用了五个月了，所以我在考虑满六期账单以后准备申什么卡的问题
。我的需求方面：首要的是拿高一点的CL，希望能到2K-3K，至少满足日常生活的需要
不至于老算着刷卡；其次自然是拿bonus和cash back了，油卡基本上是通过shopper
cover了，剩下花销就是utility和超市买菜。偶尔也会买买amazon，不过应该属于次要
的考虑因素。

费，包括转成那种BOA case reward 123，本来没年费的那种。我去local branch办这
张卡时，BOA的representive特别提醒说的，因为“the new card will still be
under the same term”（也就是有年费的term）。所以你最好确认一下，以免突然出
来个年费，措手不及。当然，我也看到有人argue说成功的，但是很凭运气，经常要多
打好几次电话。 |

问我SSN的时候我就什么都没有说了，不然估计就惨了
希望如果类似情况，大家能直接忽略那些垃圾邮件（那些邮件看着挺吓人和诱人）

后来发现不远还有个USbank，就过去问了一下。他们说没用SSN 连secured card 也不
给。
就又回去BOA。
接待我的人换了。于是就又问了一遍年费啊reward什么的。
那个mm告诉我说没有reward和cashback，政策变了。
和前一个人说的不一样啊。。
然后她就和别人讨论了起来。。
坐等了10分钟，可能更长。
最后说可能再等一个月，政策还要变。会有unsecured credit card， 不要SSN也可以
申请。
结果，我什么卡也没办，又回来了，决定再等一个月看看。
如果有人和我一样没有SSN，想办credit card， 可以再等等BOA 的消息。

说，非永久居民不给转。过了段时间，又收到信说，转了。感觉有点莫名其妙。又过了
段时间，新卡寄到了。而且是有1% cash back的。然后等了几周，deposit的钱也退了。
wells fargo secured card，确实有条款说是要永久居民才能升级。但是我居然也升级
成功了，开心啊。（穷人，没包子） |

押物，所以，类似于一些网贷平台如LendingClub或Prosper都可以考虑，三或五年的期
限，可以提前还款，但是额度不会那么高，一般每个平台是4万刀左右的上限，利率要看
你的信用分数和收入等~ |
