harman kardon环绕音响，全景panorama天窗，加热座椅，自动折叠反光镜等配置。车
停在new jersey的newport，平时主要用于nj和upstate ny方向的highway commuting。
最近换了四条全新轮胎，前后大灯的灯泡，正时皮带，刹车液，转向液等。2013年夏天
更换了空气滤，空调滤，中控旋钮等。外观7分out of 10，bumper和fender有划痕。
此车停在roadside时，左fender被过路车给剐蹭过。因为当时就报警了，所以carfax上
有一个accident。KBB上的private价在19500左右。VIN号码是WDDGF81X38F089679，我
已经自己掏钱买了一份carfax，需要的朋友请发邮件索取。

子；之后希腊人做的的fage也很风行，这俩分别占了9% & 6%市场。
不过哦我觉得最好吃的牌子是cabot plain，吃了cabot就再也吃不下其他牌子了（and

年三十深夜还在I90上超速, 被NY警察抓住, 罚250美元, 与朋友畅徉在UPSTATE的LAKE
GEORGE边, 搬起厚重的冰块, 砸向湖面, 在麻省与NH的滑雪场最后的疯狂. 而今我已经
在北京街头猛按喇叭, 横冲直撞了. 看着灯红酒绿, 繁荣昌盛, 突然有一种在梦里的感
觉.
我不是那种很牛X的海归, 不是PHD, 不是MBA, 更不是外派高管, 专业也很LOUSY, 公司
也是SOSO. 我在美国新水一般, 幸运的是我不是做那种编程或者BENCH WORK, 而是在公
司营销部门里练就一口好英语. 在美国实在没有看出有什么晋升的前途, 就辞职卖车回
去了. 说实话, 还是因为家庭条件好, 固定资产折合市价约千万RMB吧, 在国内虽然不
是资产阶级, 但是也不是一般人了, 养我两年不上班没啥问题. 爸爸妈妈天天盼儿回来
, 说我当五年海带都没问题, 千万别耽误, 都三十多的人了. 于是抛朋弃友, FIRE老板
, 感觉扬眉吐气. 老板问我是否愿意去公司在中国分部工作, 我含混其词, 打了个时间
差, 说要在美国玩三个月, 给自己充 |

代的教育问题。。。这里的latham有钱人巨多，区绝对不差，不知道你到底多upclass
反正人家的小孩都在这里受教育。
再seriously的说，小孩在繁华的地方受教育跟将来有出息有p的关系。。娇惯就有出息

现在在一所top学校Postdoc，待下去的可能
机会是今年秋天找一所Teaching college。搞点科研并
Teaching。
不知道其他在工业界的人怎末看转行？偶不喜欢转的
原因主要是觉得，如果不能Keep住一个专业，很难把技术

续考虑你的工作申请。当然，如果有公司要了你，你就赚了。
real world examples for your reference: 75K for several fresh ME PhD's in a
small startup company in Upstate NY, few years ago.
use salary.com, glassdoor.com, check with your friends, and try other ways
to find a reasonable range for jobs you are applying for.

你要是住upstate当我没说。
就brooklyn，queens甚至manhattan租租，不要太好的区，一个人房租1k也就够了。地
铁就买月票，我算你100好了。不出去玩根本不用车（去周边city大不了租车呗），更
不用说nyc附近也没啥好去的，
都是别人进城来玩。
只不过纽约做it要拿13w的机会少很多而已。

upstate NY啥的
我就奇怪了，这些公司大都总部或者大facility在加州，可就是到了我们学校就给你往
中西部送，大概想着反正你们也冷习惯了
