instead of clears.
Actually they rented the nearby vacant suite. They also have 6 additional

妈妈过两个星期就要来美国了，UA从上海经芝加哥转机。我参考版上之前的一些文章，
整理写了如下的给妈妈的指南。请大家指正。
一．行李准备：
1．美联航的托运行李规格为两件，每件重量不超过23公斤。此外，随身可以携带一个
小型的行李箱，和一个随身的背包/挎包。把护照等证件和贵重物品放在随身行李/背包
中。所有托运的行李不用上锁，以便安全检查。
2．在托运的箱子里边不要携带肉，肠及其肉干类产品，不要携带蛋，蔬菜和任何水果
。在随身携带的包里可以带一点，但必须在飞机上吃掉，不能带下飞机入关。任何饮料
，液体药品，胶体（如大号牙膏），以及任何刀具不能随身携带，但可以放在托运的箱
子中。
3．行李装好后，在箱子外面贴上我的地址和电话（用尽量显眼的笔写大一点），然后

，但在我们退房的时候，manager要我们多给一个月的房租，原因是我们没有提前一个
月给她说我们要退房，在我们搬出去的前半个月也就是8月15号，我问manager说我们可
不可以再多住几个月，大概3个月，因为（听说）在加州合同期租满以后，可以一个月
一个月的租，manager说要问房东才知道，结果是我们不可以一个月一个月的租，所以
我们就决定9月一号到期后搬出去，而搬出去的那天，manager气势汹汹的跑来说我们应
该提一个月通知，这里不是酒店，想来就来，想走就走，因为搬出去的那天，我们要回
国，所以也就没有多说什么，但后来我把合同找出来，发现根据合同，我们是不应该多
给一个月钱的，见附件，谢谢，请xdjm帮忙看看。
后来回国后，我就给manager写信了，因为没有房东的邮箱，信件内容如下

您这是典型的又想套狼，又舍不得孩子的心态。
我就没看出来那种情况房主不应该 cash 支票的。
如果怀疑对方是假出租，专骗定金的骗子，您还是等自己过去看房的那一天
再付支票好了。即使您亲自看了房，也有人用 Foreclosure 的房子，
甚至是别人的 vacant home 来骗钱的，所以您自己就看着办吧。
咱一异地找房的房客，二话不说就把押金和第一个月的房租直接打到银行帐号上了。
说实在话，房东一般很不愿意把房租给这种外地找房的，因为风险太大。
没见过面，不知对方是哪条道上混事儿的。房客也没看过房，网上的照片，和实地
看房差异很大。很多异地房客，怕到了后租不到房。没到前，表忠心，万分满意，
肯定是非你房不租。来了一看，二话不说转身就走。
即使到之前签了合约，搬进来后抱怨这抱怨那，没满租期就强行搬走的也不乏其人。 |
