发帖数: 7856 | 3 泡水车什么的VIN查得到吗？————这个不一定。有些州可以有些不行。
一辆车发生交通事故或意外（flood, hail damage, vandalize, stolen, etc）后如果
保险公司评估修复费用超过车子本身价值一定比例（通常是70-80%）的话就被认为不值
得修，判定为total loss。Total的车要先转为salvage title。Salvage title的车不
能上路行驶（但可以拥有和买卖），必须修复之后通过Enhanced vehicle inspection
确认达到厂家安全标准后，把salvage title换成rebuilt title才能上路行驶。
Rebuilt title的车只有两种情况是完全没有隐患的，可以考虑：
1. Hail damaged。这种车就是外观难看点，机械和车身结构完全没有受到破坏。
2. 损伤轻微的。比如剐蹭。但这种肯定都是非常旧的车（车已经不几个值钱，所以才
会刮一下就total）。你看到的车显然不属于这种情况。
Rebuilt title在以后出售或trade-in的时候肯定会被压价或拒收。别人也不是傻子，

问几个问题，做好准备。我租房的中介网上差评很多，几千块押金一分不退的时有发生。
我在这个房子里住了一年，是prviate suite，四间独立bedroom带bathroom，客厅和厨
房公用。合同是单独签的。去年搬进来的时候非常急，看房当天就搬进来，看房的时候
看到bedroom有点积灰，地上有些死虫子，带我参观的人说屋子还没有professional
cleaned。但是我打算搬进来以后，立马改口说已经clean过的。当时拍了几张照片，给
他们看，他们不看。照片还保存着。厨房和客厅搬来的时候就很脏，因为住着一个老印
，一个伊拉克大妈。当时中介说我不用负责公用部分的卫生，但是其实只是口头说，后
来发现lease里明确写着中介清理公用部分我们四个房客都要分摊费用。
一年里面中介打扫过一次公用部分，粉刷过一次公用部分的墙，过来修过几次公用的洗
衣机（我搬来之前就坏了，当时隐瞒了这点，一直修了3个月，在我们的坚持下终于给
换了个新的），修过一次暖气。

换了个大电池还要每天充一次电， 实在不敢劳驾它来拍照了。。。于是想买个普通的
数码，但是也不要太傻瓜的，要有光学变焦的，体积不要太大的，最好要防水的。
麻烦推荐一下。多谢 |

更新一下： 上周六我叔叔陪同了专业电工去了房子那里。 电工发现，他描述的”安上
灯泡就短路灭掉， 电路有重大问题， 威胁他们安全“的情况压根不属实。 也有书面
报告了。电工话费在225。
他还无耻的提出： garage opener 的torche spring 坏了。让我修。说他汽车停在外
面被vandalized 。 有警察报告。我们有书面记录， 两个月前他charge 我300美金修
好的这个garage opener (material 200, labor 100). 修好之后有他的短信说garage
door opener installed, works OK.
如果上庭， 这应该是他的责任。
更好笑的是， 他2月前charge我100美金， wired jaccuzi (outdoor) 电源. 现在回来
跟我说， 我没有提供GFCI breaker. 是安全隐患。他自己在rental application上写
的职业是electrical engineer。
