做health maintenance和阉割手术，不做诊断不治病。例如打预防针，做打虫，卖
heartworm, flea preventatives，做heartworm test，查血，做洗牙等等。然后他们
每次除了收一个10块钱必须的简单的体检费以外，其他所有的service都只收药物的成
本费，不收服务费，所以很便宜，每次去都只会花大概20－30块钱。很多很多人都用他
们～我也是从来都用他们，狗儿生病时才会去vet，我当时去的是一个很远，在taylor
的vet，他们也非常便宜，也是基本上只收药物成本费，不收服务费，我去过那里两次
，一次是猫半边脸肿了外加发烧食欲不振，去打了两针，带回家一瓶眼药和一瓶抗生素
，总共花费40多。另一次是两只狗一起拉血吐血不吃东西。两只狗一起做了stool test
，各打两针，带回家一瓶抗生素，也是只花了30多也不40吧。想必在他们那里做普通的

“绿色和平”这个臭名昭著的反科学组织每隔一段时间就要来散布一下妖魔
化转基因的谣言吓唬公众，虽经多次揭露，其信用居然在中国媒体上还没有破产，
别人不烦我也烦了。既然此事在网上已被炒了起来，我就再评几句：
一、发布科学研究成果的正常渠道是经同行评议的学术期刊，越是重大的成
果应该在越是权威的期刊上发表。那些不先发论文而靠媒体来发布的所谓科研成
果，往往是在学术上站不住脚的，没有专业识别能力的普通公众对此应该警惕。
二、因为没有看到这个研究的论文，只能从新闻报道了解其内容。对比英文
报道，可知“绿色和平”歪曲、夸大了这个研究结果。据英文报道，该研究发现
的是喂了20周的转基因杂交玉米的小鼠产下的第三窝和第四窝的后代数量较少、
体重较轻，“绿色和平”竟给歪曲成“从第三代开始，后代的体重、体长和数量
