July 26, 2010 -- Procter & Gamble Co. says it is voluntarily recalling two
lots of prescription Iams dry cat food because of the potential of
salmonella contamination.
In a news release posted on its web site, the company says the recall is for
two lots of Iams Veterinary Formula Feline Renal in 5.5 pound bags that
were distributed to offices of veterinarians throughout the United States.

今天在网上闲逛，看到一个学校有ONLINE 读 VET ASSISTANT,学费不到两千，学时
240HR.忽然脑子发热想换个工作玩玩，不过我猜想这活挺幸苦的。
先自我介绍一下，我来美国五年，在读护士，很快就毕业了，从毕业到考上执照到找到
工作我想还有一年多时间，这中间总想做点自己喜欢的事。我现在除了读书就是在一家
妇产科诊所当医生的助手，但自己对动物实在喜爱，已经吃素好几年，所以对和动物有
关的行业特别感兴趣。
请大家说说看，有什么好建议。

不可以一直做夺夺的vet吗还是怎么样？
还有大家知道猫每年要打什么针吗？狂犬疫苗还有啥？要定期deworm吗？
再有一件事就是我给她买的gold petplan，这个是要把claim form for veterinary
fees还有 form for pre-authorization claim一起带上让医生填了然后把receipt啥的
寄给petplan等着就行了吗？

austin，是个非盈利组织，他们只做health maintenance和阉割手术，不做诊断不治病
。例如打预防针，做打虫，卖heartworm, flea preventatives，做heartworm test，
查血，做洗牙等等。然后他们每次除了收一个10块钱必须的简单的体检费以外，其他所
有的service都只收药物的成本费，不收服务费，所以很便宜，每次去都只会花大概20
－30块钱。很多很多人都用他们～我也是从来都用他们，狗儿生病时才会去vet，我当
时去的是一个比较远，在taylor的vet，他们也非常便宜，也是基本上只收药物成本费
，不收服务费，我去过那里两次，一次是猫半边脸肿了外加发烧食欲不振，去打了两针
，带回家一瓶眼药和一瓶抗生素，总共花费40多。另一次是两只狗一起拉血吐血好几天
不吃东西或者吃了就吐。两只狗一起做了stool test，各打两针，带回家一瓶抗生素，

and pumpkin recipes), suppose to be easy to digest 可是还是不好。这两次去看
医生都说他他underweight，因为总是拉肚子所以没能吸收营养(一个月前带回来的时候
他3.5lb,今天秤了一下，10.5lb)。今天上午又带他去看医生了，扎了一针，化验大便
