绿卡应该就没关系了。

比如说，我的the priority day is January 2012.
The cut-off day of EB3 is 01APR12 in Visa Bulletin For January 2014 which is
just released two days ago.
如果只要律师在2014年一月份(任何一天)提交485申请都是可以的吗？ Yes
如果在Visa Bulletin For February 2014，那个cut-off day变成01APR11(倒退了)。
是不是也不会影响我的申请，只要律师在2014年一月份提交了485？ You can only get

准，但还未到新公司上班。 我file 485时该填O1 吗 还是目前的J1 visa？

HR 2161 IDEA Act的听证前天才完成，然后Lofgren又提出了H.R.3119. 这个3119比
2161的规模要小：主要是HR 2161包括STEM的exemption, 然后这个不包括STEM.这样的
话就少了很多争议。
再有一点就是HR 3119包含了对Family-based immigration的一些有利条款，所以还能
得到Family-based人员的支持。
所以HR 3119通过的概率也许大些，另外这个法案也由非法移民的最坚定支持者Rep.
Gutierrez联合提出(co-sponsor), 所以遇到的非法移民那里的阻力会小些。
HR 3119 主要是：

拿到immigrant visa的人不是permanent resident，没有green card。immigrant visa
是一次性签证。用immigrant visa入境的时候，immigrant visa作废了，跟着那个人变
成permanent resident，拿到green card。
用visa（无论是非移民签证或移民签证）入境都可以因为各种ban或inadmissibility被
拒绝入境。但是作为permanent resident入境就不可以；只要没有失去permanent
resident身份，不能被那些原因拒绝入境。 |

中不会给你任何visa。Adjustment of Status是代替境外申请immigrant visa的过程，
所以都是用一样的visa number。

卡的。

而是current以后，IO去request visa number，
因为三类的I-140早就批了，系统bug不知道I-140的linkage，默认成二类的了，
然后request被拒了，或者更糟糕，没被拒，但on hold，
这样造成IO没拿到visa number无法发notice。
反倒是那些和I-140一起批的，同一个工作流，刚好能连上正确的linkage，
所以最后反而拿到了三类的visa number。
真这样，就怕到了这个stage，系统能不能改都是个问题。
所以看到不少SR问出来都是在in line或者已经在IO手里的，但是都很久批不了。
不是没人在审，而是系统无法收回“错误”的visa number request。
同时大量visa number requests在二类上，又不是current，
会不会把二类visa number分配也给堵住了。 |

因为12月份要去印度开会，所以这个月决定去matamoros renew F1 visa。11月19日
interview， visa approved，但是11月20日才拿到，所以现在matamoros很可能当天拿
不到签证，他们领事馆网站上面也有提到。住的是Mr.Salvador的Hotel（他人真的很好
，下面会讲）。 整个过程详细如下。
1. 出境美国，入境墨西哥
我是11月18日傍晚到达gateway international bridge，出境投币65美分（类似地铁站
进出）。如果没有零钱，旁边一个office可以换，里面坐着一个白傻大个，像国内传达
室守门的。投币完后，过铁丝桥，大概走5分钟，到达墨西哥那边，不用投币， |

员在I94背面的注释里面填写visa的信息，把这个错误也原封不动地抄写在了注释里面。
