't prevail in the end...but it takes a lot way beyond talent and diligence...well, neither I am saying people shall not play smart and be visionary...those would still go a long way... |

如对报告人说“你得把问题解释的max都能听懂才行！”，max也不在乎。。。但是人家
也拿了炸药。。sanger也是公认不聪明的，两个炸药。。。。
说到zhuang xiaowei，想起鲍林的例子，觉得有些想像。。。。
鲍林是那个时代公认最聪明的化学家之一，我看过他的传记，他从小到大学习很顺利（
虽然不是名校，家境缘故），超级明星学生／研究生，去欧洲以后才发现牛人原来很多
（去sommerfield实验室见识了海森堡等妖孽。。），决定“不跟随数学／量子物理的
鬼火，还是安心把理论发展到化学里”，始成一代化学大牛。。。如果当年鲍林一根筋
去搞理论物理应该就是个一流半二流物理学家。。。
所以我觉得visionary比smart,clever都重要。。。 |
