其实都知道，美墨边境的 即使都 关闭，偷渡为零，（但wall 的确对 走私毒品很有效
）；美国每年 的非移增长还是很客观，本质上应是控制 chain，和通过 有效的 科技
掌控非法雇用，比如提过的 E-verify 等等；
设想一下，要是trump 治下有一个有效机制可以 掌控 chain和非法雇用，能够通过可
以 比如 drone 等严控border；在内部能够enforce current 移民法，遣返 犯罪的非
移，当老百姓能看到这一切，真没多少人care 物理的 wall。
但这一切是民主党不愿看到的，因为他们想通过大量移民来彻底改变 选举map的目的就
完全失败了，没法把加州的成功经验 转嫁到全国，能成为一劳永逸的万年执政党。
再退一步，建wall 这是事儿本身就有操作余地，建 几十mile 和几百miles 的宣传上

现在的小孩儿卧房里已经有了开关控制的一个电源插座。估计是给地灯用的。可是我觉
得地灯不太安全。所以想就着原来的开关装个wall sconce。但是wall sconce的位置不
在现在得插座的垂直线附近。
目前的问题主要是走线问题。怎么不把dry wall破坏太多又能把线横向拉一些呢？ |

其次，我没有打算一定要走court order. 但是，不得不准备。很多公司说不可以做，
说明工程有难度。万一挖了一半做不下去怎么办？
合不合理都是相对的，看你的立场。作为我来说
1。水流路径是原先就设计的，nothing is against building code。而且他的同侧后
院还和我西边的邻居相接（mine occupies 60%, my westside neighbor 40%).我们的
雨水都流到他家，为什么只找我？(我西边邻居家的retaining wall 还不错，估计十年

高的一家会造retaining wall,并在自家地界wall里面做french drain。汇集出来的雨
水通过一个封闭的管子，沿着低的邻居家的property line边界排到下面的街上进
public sewage，这样不会有水对邻居造成surface damage.
你需要维护你的retaining wall和french drain,但是对邻居的french drain不负任何
责任。邻居要求你修他家的drainage是无理要求。你如果需要那种不漏水的drian的管
道从他家property line地表上通过，是合理的,私下不能协商的话法院应该会支持你。
从斜坡高处往下挖修wall和drainage是危险的，如果你的drainage和wall没有明显的
defect,你没必要从自己家这边修理。邻居有权不借道。借道只能靠协商。
所以我个人认为你首先应该inspect你的drainage,如果drainage没问题就不要进行任何
修理，保证不被有意破坏就行；如果drainage有问题，就只修drainage并向法院申请或

大概就是构图的工作吧。作过了一些，想得也就稍微多一
些。我的主页上wall paper第一页都是网上别处的，第四
页都是自己做的(当然一些照片是别人提供的)，就感觉色
彩比第一页的无论如何要灰一些，所以，看来以后要考虑
调整光线和色彩了。
有一些照片的尺寸和800*600差得比较多，切割了再resize
的时候，靠软件去掉或者补上一些点，这样有时会使画面
细节受损，清晰度下降。对于wall paper来说，其功能不
是提供很好的图象而是提供一个漂亮舒适的背景，那么这
种画面的损害有没有什么大的不好呢? Anyway, 清晰的图
片比不那么清晰的好。
作为wall paper，如果太亮，对眼睛不好，对屏幕也不好，
也许色彩可以柔和一些吧?
因为现在win95和win98的桌面上，图标都从左边放起，所
以，wall paper的左侧色彩应该暗淡一些，图案变化少一
些，这样不至于喧宾夺主，使人看不清楚图标或者眼花缭
乱。而wall paper的右侧，则应该可以多一些变化。

房子的后院和邻居的后院相接。我的房子和后院比他的高4-5尺。在我那一侧的分界线
上，有一道retaining wall,用来保持水土，不然后院有坍塌的可能。
我的retaining wall（45 foot long， 4 foot high)已经自然损坏，需要拆除重建。
但是，邻居坚持认为我家流到他家的雨水导致他的排水无法负担，暴雨后有时会被水淹
，要我1）将雨水改道 或 2)出钱修french drain,从我家一直修到他家后院，前院，在
通道街上。
我和city的人谈过，我家地势低，所以排水就是设计成通过他家到街道上。但是邻居坚
持要我选1 or 2,不然就不让用他家的后院修retaining wall。我问过几个公司，都说

条，就把liquid nail挤到小块dry wall和原dry wall的缝隙当中填充？只要保证外面
平整，胶干了，小块dry wall就卡在洞中了，缝隙也填满了。主要是dry wall切面（侧
面）粗糙，可以填充胶。 |

另外，邻居看我这里的一颗vine不爽，在Thanksgiving时私自撬坏了一小部分
retaining wall,砍了那棵vine的根部。那时我的狗就了，我出去看，被我当场目击。
邻居就开始岔开话题说修retaining wall. 我们有很多email,他一开始说retaining
wall,后来就暴露意图了。好在他在email里变相承认了他看我的vine,而且还强调vine

发帖数: 6 | 43 看上一个区的房子，builder 当年建房的时候， 在exterior dry wall and
insulation 上除了点岔子（具体不清楚）。几年以后builder 意识到当年的差错可能
导致房子生mold （据说还没有真的有report 说有mold）， 所以对整个小区的绝大多
数房子replace exterior dry wall and insulation.
我们看上的这个房子不在builder 重新翻修之列。但现任房主说他们为了求安心，自己
花6K刀作了部分的 replacement of exterior dry wall and insulation， 然后又用2
-10 warranty 叫builder 完成了剩余的 replacement.
我们担心的问题有两个：
1）为什么现任房主要自己花6K去做一部分，而不是直接利用warranty 找builder 来做；
2）不知道他自己做的部分质量如何。现任房主说自己是 professional builder，但不
愿出示任何证明来说明资质 （不知道是因为现在他们手上还有另一个offer，而对我们

电源插座已经有了，那些模拟的视频音频线感觉现在没有用了。
请问还缺了什么考虑，谢谢！很怕以后发现漏了什么，又没法再开墙了。

发帖数: 1032 | 45 费城的新盖房，车库和family room连着的，车库上面是主卧，选择了insulate garage
ceiling，这样主卧冬天会隔热好点，但不知道该不该选insulate garage wall,造价
300左右，有经验的朋友给点建议吧。我理解的都是在drywall里填些隔热棉。问了几个
朋友，有的说无所谓，将来也不会给取暖费省多少钱，因为车库门还是透风的，没什么
本质区别。

刚才有跟builder聊了聊，说是 The Garage Wall that touches the House IS
Insulated. ONLY the WALLS that DO NOT TOUCH the HOUSE (LIVING SPACE) are not
insulated. Your call, I always believe in insulation.

自身6.3lb，speaker 9.1lb重。
这个wall mount的安装要求在木头上安装三个螺丝，但为了美观,我打算只在dry wall
安装上下两个螺丝，不知道能不能撑住？
有没有规范说dry wall能支持多少重量？ |

打算把原有的微波炉内循环油烟机换了.
后面就是外墙(非砖),无洞
版内考古学习了一些,发现买个8寸的wall cap,metal worm drive clamp和elbow(已买)
即可.
且即使需要走一节直管的话,大家的意见是硬管远优于软管,那就硬管吧
不过我家的估计用不到直管,壁橱上下距离很小,能按得下弯管我就很满意了,虽然也知
道拔火筒原理是越高越好,可没办法.
wall cap和clamp选了如下,不知道合适不,大伙帮我瞅瞅:

片，一部宣传环保，很温馨，很人文的片子。是不是小制作，我没放狗过。现在写来，不
知怎么想起了去年的Juno。很高兴越来越多地在美国的大屏幕上看到这些片子，那么地

言归正传吧
不知道是多少年以后的事了，地球上不再有蓝天，不再有白云，不再有绿地，甚至，不
