Brake inspection:
F.rotors/drums: discard at _.974_ actual L. _1.000 R._.995
R. rotors/drums: discard at _.226 Actual L. _.223 R. _.223
Pads/Shoes: Front 9/32 Rear 4/32
Recommendations:
1.advise replacing transmission fluid.
2. Advise replacing tie rod end;

发帖数: 59 | 20 偶然发现 我的车（JEEP GC 2001 4X4， 42RE AUTOMATIC Transimmsion）空档怠速居然可以缓慢的走。刚开始以为是下坡的原因。 结果， 小上坡也没问题。 在停车场可以遛圈。其它档位没有问题。
google了一下， 确实有的车空档轮子可能转动。但是我的维修手册说有三个可能：
1. Gear shift Linkage Mis-adjusted:
2. Rear Clutch Dragging/warped;
3. Valve body malfunction.
这些都不是自己可以随便动手可以干的。最近准备跑长途， 我不知道不管它会有什么风险。 不知道这个症状什么时间开始的。 要是长期这样的话， 我就不管它了。要是修的话， 大家有什么建议？ |

ACCELERATION
POSSIBLE CAUSE: 1. Dirty or incorrectly gapped spark plugs.
2. Contamination in Fuel System.
3. Burned, warped, or pitted valves.
4. Faulty ignition coil(s).
CORRECTION:
1. Clean spark plugs and set gap.
2. Clean fuel system and replace fuel filter.
3. Replace valves.
4. Test and replace as necessary.

You don't need put the screw that is holding the rotor back, it is only used
on the production line to help speed up the process.
If you know what you are doing, 15 min on each side is more than plenty with

了一段时间后声音越来越大
先去一家车铺查的，直接告诉我engine或者transmission有问题，我可以肯定不是这两
个的问题。
后来找到这家，信誉不错。试开了一下就能说出个子丑寅卯了，所以觉得技术还是不错
的。开始做inspection的时候，查出both front wheel bearing have play, both
front wheel inner and outer tie rods have play, entire steering rack loose
due to backed out bolts, front rotors are completely warped due bearing play
, possible leak in steering rack.
总共要$1100
他提到过steering rack的问题，但是后来说问题不大，不换也可以。而且说主要是
bearing的问题。因为车到9w mile了，一直没做大维护，所以借这个机会换了

别的我就不罗嗦了，你说换完以后没有pump 够，所以没有产生足够的pressure,这很搞

第一，换完刹车片后pump三五下基本就有了正常的刹车感觉了，所以要么就是忘了pump
导致没有刹
车，要么就一定会pump到正常的刹车感觉出来。
第二，就算你说的pump不够，没有产生足够的pressure的说法成立，搂主都开了n久了

刹了多少次车了，居然还没有产生足够的pressure?

配上不同的socket，也可以当日常rachet用，当然要轻拿轻放，
大的那个主要用于拧装wheel lugs，店铺为了省时间，电动上lugs,
懒得管是否上的太紧，更要命的是不同的lugs会有不同的松紧，

EST $440.00(含人工) REPLACE A/F SENSOR
有几个问题想请教大家了,首先,这个问题很严重吗? DEALER说是需要尽快去他们那修,
但看来也不是那么紧张的.而且配件他们还没货,还要等3天才到货.这个费用是否合理呢
?(如果外面修也差不多 我倾向于去DEALER那里 起码有问题他们说还能质保1年)
另外车子的 FRONT BRAKE ROTORS ARE WARPED,修一下报价460刀,还要95刀ADDITIONAL
FOR PADS 主要症状是高速上踩刹车方向盘剧烈抖动 不知道是否有同病相怜的 同问
价格是否合理呢?
车子才买回来开了2600迈就出此问题 一声叹息!

that Routan, Grand Caravan and T&C all have the brake issue, which warp the
rotor very fast, say about every 4000 miles. You'd better report it to your
dealer before 12k miles, since they won't cover that after it. |

"抖动问题" might be the phaser sensor issues, from what I have learned from
edmunds. There are 4 of them in the van. VW / chrysler has recalled them.
But if you can't find issue, they will not replace.
In addition, brake might "warping" later on. VW or chrysler will pay for
the repair.
Also, for some vans, sliding door might not close properly. Need to be
repair.

任何日车都更省心。以前开过的日车，前2万迈里都会出各种问题，比如引擎灯亮，
warped rotor，车内的rattle，车灯泡坏了，车充坏了，最严重的是transmission
slip。相反俺现在的两辆被德黑成为垃圾的大众（tiguan，cc），却是非常的reliable
，开着也比日车爽多了。
我的经验是要买在德国制造的德车，一般来说质量有保证。还有就是要好好保养，加
