好处是写男女感情的那种若有若无细腻柔婉很到家。续集如果让这一对理想成真，不如
写入了围城的不同滋味……
我看了陆犯焉识的小说，还没看电影。go set a watchman也看了，atticus真算不上
racist，应该说是在对立双方中间求和解的pacifist。scout好过激，不过谁没有经历
过正直热情理想主义的青春期……
叶芝被引的是哪首诗？
the stranger我也很喜欢，开头很吸引人。
sylvia plath的日记混乱还是条理清晰？文字怎么样？

Harper Lee: US author of To Kill a Mockingbird dies aged 89
Harper Lee, the reclusive author of To Kill A Mockingbird, has died at the
age of 89.
The news was confirmed by the mayor's office in her hometown of Monroeville,
Alabama.
The novelist was born Nelle Harper Lee on 28 April 1926.
In 1960, she published To Kill A Mockingbird, which was a huge critical and
commercial success and won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction. The sequel Go Set
a Watchman, was only published in 2015.

发帖数: 141625 | 7 前天真是欧美文坛的忌日。先是《杀死一个知更鸟》的作者、美国女作家Harper Lee去
世：

紧接着意大利作家、学者Umberto Eco接踵而逝。
Eco本来是个学者，符号语言学（semiotics）教授。我写论文时还引用过他的一本《阐
释与过度阐释》（Interpretation and Overinterpretation），国内出版过中译本，
一本薄薄的小册子，文字铿锵正直。
Eco的专业方向是中世纪文献，钻研好多看不懂的神秘符号（semiotics）……他最出名
的小说《玫瑰之名》（The Name of the Rose），场景就是中世纪神秘城堡寺庙，主角
是福尔摩斯式的善于破译神秘符号的侦探。很少有学者能把自己的专业深入浅出地编成
故事，让大众听得有趣。不过他的小说啃起来还是有点难度的，大量史料和论证看得人
头皮发硬……最方便的是看改编的电影，由007演员Sean Connery担纲主演，很有中世
纪的瘆人气氛……

点上市。我们邻居的孩子在Barnes & Noble通宵排队抢购，凌晨四点才回到家——不知
道是排长队还是开party……版上有人去抢购吗？
我今天居然收到镇上图书馆的email，说“您预订的书已到，请速来取书”，底下赫然
是《Harry Potter and the Cursed Child》！我家娃居然聪明地拿我的借书卡去预订
了。赶忙兴冲冲地打电话告诉她，再兴冲冲地冲到图书馆去拿书。图书馆员和办公室同
事都跟我一起大呼小叫，争相传阅——就像去年夏天我刚拿到Harper Lee的新书《Go
Set a Watchman》一样——也是从图书馆。这些书在美国真走红啊；美国人真爱读书啊
。咱们八十年代的读书热或许可与之一拼，记得见过上海图书馆门前排长龙等开门的黑
白照。
有人先读为快吗？期待分享体会。我先来贴几张照片：
不是和前七本一样的小说，而是剧本；看起来像是Rowling提供故事，另两人整成（神
）话剧？伦敦已经上演了；据说明年来纽约演。我还是想看电影……

这个电影我也一直没看过。上次看续集go set a watchman，深感美国尤其南方对黑人
历史问题的强烈感情，有这么深的历史根源才有现在的无尽纠结。 |

我对政治不感兴趣，修改稿是在To Kill a Mocking Bird里面提到的的Dill帮助下一起
完成的，我也觉得两本书明显不一样，To Kill a Mocking Bird写得都很好，环环相扣
，从一个小姑娘的角度描述事情。P.S.，这是英美中学生的必读材料。
只是Harper Lee一辈子只写了这么一本，才让才出版没多久的Go Set a Watchman也火
了一把。

查了一下KKK的历史，Atticus参加的是第二阶段：

补充一下楼上关于面具的解释 漫画里（其实是graphic novel）面具上的图案也是可以
动的 能动的原因在一个章节里有解释 罗沙克没坐superhero之前在一家制衣工厂上班
（类似的地方）自己会一点缝纫技能 又一次有一位客人丢掉了一件比较前卫的衣服 这
衣服的材料是双层的 里面夹了一层墨水一样的液体 可以根据人体的温度等移动位置
罗沙克就把这件衣服剪裁成了自己的面具 他有不止一个这个面具
另外就是这部作品的主旨之一就是从正常人的角度去刻画superhero 他们也是普通人
也有七情六欲 也会变老 也会不堪一击 另外作品的大背景设定在冷战时期 也假如了对
越战的反思 整体构架非常宏大
去读原著吧 非常精彩的
作者Alan Moore还是V字仇杀队的创作者 |

说实话我还是很喜欢这个电影的，因为看其他的都不免联想，难道superhero就一直那
么cool,没有解决不了的现实问题，不用吃喝拉撒么?这个里面doctor Marathon够牛逼
了，摧毁地球都不在话下，当然也没有他灭不了的坏蛋，但是还是没法save the world.
里面装B也很文艺，罗夏的“excuse me, I need go to the bathroom"太好玩了 |
