别认识。
我想问的并不是agile的问题，而是在工作中如何保持快速的开发能力和快速的学习能
力。根据我的观察，我的mentor确实是行动非常迅速，他的学习能力也非常的快。这应
该是他的长处，在整个组里估计没啥人在这方面能超过他。他在MS之外，还有个自己的
小公司在开发win phone app，有好几个app在开发，之前他还邀我一同参与其中，在实
际中 我发现我对新技术的学习的速度实在比他慢很多。最近他又在倒腾一些web
service的开发，感觉也是行动迅速。
我也很多次和他讨论过此类问题，但是实在是很难一下两下总结出来、或者说学过来。

根据NPS的annual visit report, Olympic national park的人气是跟Yesomite/Yellow
stone 同一个级别的。 既然来到了Seattle当然很向往, 三个小时,一个周末就可以到
了,没有预先计划细节但长周末到了还是出发吧.
按照公园的交通，大体上就是沿着101公里绕一个大圈, 选择无非是顺时针还是逆时针,
当然这也很重要, 可能影响到几个小时开车时间.
因为有试着预定lodge或hotel, 加上沿途所见, 所以对住宿情况略知一二, 所以总结一

1） Lake Quinault Lodge: 南面,非常漂亮也有点历史的建筑, Lake Quinault边上,

is 5 miles and the hike is generally considered moderate in difficulty.
Day 1：

把范围又扩大了一点
发现有一个之前没有去过的waterfall
下班和巴蒂约好了去试一试
我先到
沿着水边来到waterfall的旁边
换上俺的小嘴大杀器开钓
tailwater, 急水, backwater, 沿岸边
都试验了一会
一个咬钩都没有
水里水草还不少
时不时的挂上来一大坨
很是郁闷
正准备换个地方呢
忽然杆尖一抖
赶紧set hook
drag也开始刷刷的出线了
肯定是小嘴没跑了
水草太多
还怕线挂在旁边的水泥墩上
于是让它运动了运动
趁着它下口气没上来
赶紧拉回岸边
哟
果然是一条漂亮的小嘴
边下钩边给巴蒂打电话
你这次要留鱼不?
带了桶子没?
巴蒂刚好也已经到停车场了
于是提着鱼来到停车场
穿上线
重新抛回水里
再又钓了半天
又上了一条小点的小嘴加一条打酱油的northern
看到旁边有老美用渔网网minnow
据说是这里晚上有walleye!
下次有机会来试试
等上车了才想起来忘记秤一下重量, 量一下长度了
还好巴蒂今天要来俺家拿个东西

早上起来去了La Fatuna waterfall。水量很大，只是跟La Paz Waterfall太相似
。之后去Ecocentro Denaus，一个Ecological Garden，包括植物园，喂鸟的台子，
frog pond和butterfly garden。LP上说这个地方"reader recommended“，觉得很小儿
科。各种动植物都有一点，但缺乏管理，不成系统，门庭冷落。CR有太多类似的Garden，
都说是非营利机构，门票收入用来支持当地的conservation。我比较怀疑这一点。总之
不大喜欢这个地方，我们去也是为了等雨停实在没事干。
我们在eagle tour订了去Arenal的一个hiking tour和一个lava watching。雨下了
一整天，lava肯定看不到了，hiking tour也估计看不到什么东西。我想guide在这个地
方这么多年了，应该心里很清楚看不到东西。但还是说，要去试一试，有可能看到。结
果hiking tour只看到躲在树叶下蜷成一团的某种猴，浓雾下lava的影子都没有，却来
了好几辆各个公司 |

发帖数: 401 | 11 从Cottonwood canyon rd开出来去Bryce Canyon的路上
Bryce Canyon和Zion都不是第一次去了，所以这次只是匆匆路过，走马观花吧。

我们在Bryce Canyon里只走了一个短的trail，大约不到4迈的样子，从Sunset point出
发，走Navajo loop，然后转道Queen's garden，再从Sunrise回到起点。Navajo loop
还是很不错，从下面看峡谷视角截然不同。
Zion, Chessboard Mesa
下午往回开，又顺道看了Zion。坐了Zion里的Shuttle bus，去看了Court of the
Patriarchs, Weeping Rock, Big Bend and Temple of Sinawava waterfall。我觉得
weeping rock很不错，半迈的trail，一上去非常清凉的感觉，看着细细的水流顺着岩
石滑下，在岩石边挂上一道轻薄如纱的水帘。尤其象我们这么热的天去，穿过水帘的感

发帖数: 505 | 13 游记照片得整理一下，先贡献几点tips。时间原因没去Homer, 这里只有Anchorage,
Denali NP, Valdez和Seward的信息。
1. 这几天Alaska还很冷。除了早晚正常御寒的长衣长袖外，要去Colimbia Glacier
Kayaking的同学要额外准备保暖的衣服...冰川那边实在是太冷了，又下着雨，中饭又
只能是冷的三明治。我们的guider很细心, 给我们准备了Hot Chocolate, 真是救了命
了。
2. 不要低估Denali Highway的威力，虽然看上去跟小时候中国农村常见的大土路没啥
区别，路面有时好到也看不到很多石块。 我们租的Compact size是Nissan的Versa,
一路35mile的时速小心翼翼的，一直到开完整个unpaved路面都平安无事，结果在快接
近Paxon的pave路面爆胎了。。。然后只好换备胎开到Paxon找人修。Paxon说起来是个
小town，其实就是在8号和4号交叉口的一幢2层小楼，一家人在那里坐家族生意（旅店
，餐馆，加油站, etc）。。掌柜的老头老太有个儿子，会补胎. 当然， Denali

restaurants. Shopping is also good. The Royal mountain is only a hill
at most. You don't 'climb' it. You just walk up and down. The park is
beautiful though.
There is a botanic garden nearby the olympic building. That is a pretty
good place if you want to relax.
The waterfall is on the way to QC if I remember correctly. It's nice. But
still nothing but a waterfall.

其实很多年以前读了mengxu的那篇here i am, half dome的帖子，我就一直对yosemite
向往不已。而这次出去玩，yosemite和sf也是唯一2个我留出了2天时间的地方。这次本
来也想去hike half dome, 但后来做了一些research, 发现还要抽签，而且我也不知道
到了yosemite我的身体状况怎么样，所以最后还是决定算了吧。总的来说，我还是蛮喜
欢yosemite的，不过瀑布这东西，看多了也就这么回事，无非是有些大些，有些高些，
有些矮些...看多了多少有些审美疲劳，而且有之前去过niagara falls的经历，并不觉
得yosemite的那些瀑布真的太让我惊叹不已。同学们，listen to me, 要想在北美看瀑
布，nf is the place to go. 从某种程度上讲，我甚至觉得quebec city的那个
montmorency falls都不比yosemite的那些waterfalls要差多少。

发帖数: 977 | 18 7/5/2012-7/16我们一家6口（两个小孩6岁和8岁及我爸妈）去Costa Rica玩儿了10天，
昨天回来，总结一下。
去年听一家美国人说起他们去Costa Rica玩觉得很好，就计划也去玩一次。CR分旱季和
雨季，6月到11月是雨季，人少又便宜一些，而7月头半个月被称为雨季中的旱季，于是
就决定这时候去。
去CR如果有绿卡或公民就不需要任何手续。我主要在tripadvisor上做研究，定了旅馆
及租车以及行程安排，下面是整个过程。
第一天：开车到Chicago Ohare，车停在Pride airport parking, $6.5一天。值得注意
的是最后取车时我发现车被开了不少，因为油少了1/4，但是因为我没记里程表，也没
办法说什么，所以大家今后长期停车要记里程表以防万一。AA的飞机经Dallas到Juan
Satamaria internation airport.路上一共7个小时，下午7：15pm到机场。事先定的旅
馆Robledal Hotel派人在机场外拿牌接机。需要注意的是机场的exchange兑换率不好，

发帖数: 977 | 19 第五天：早晨刚吃完早餐，跟两个小孩在院子里玩，突然一只大红马高速从身边跑过，
跑到旅馆后院，老板Alvaro跟在后面跑过来。原来是红马的妈妈昨晚生了一匹小马，哥
哥来看弟弟了，Alvaro带我们去后面的farm里看了刚出生的小马，身上还湿漉漉的。上
午去了waterfall,进门后是个很短的trail,15分钟左右就来到一个很美的瀑布，加上周
围的雨林和飘渺的雾气，真的象仙境一样。瀑布下的水潭中可以游泳，但今天时间有限
，就没有游。一只手掌大的blue morpho butterfly飞过，蓝色的翅膀忽闪忽闪的象一
个精灵。瀑布下只有几个人，我们不禁感叹这个季节游客真少，后来才发现游客都去了
海边，喜欢火山，雨林的游客较少。吃了中饭我们就离开La Fortuna,开往Monteverde.
Verde是绿色的意思，Monteverde就是绿山。Monteverde离Arenal其实很近，直线距离
也就30公里，但是没有直通的路，要绕lake arenal开一圈，不到100mile的距离要开4

In my opinion, Yellowstone park is the best national park for family with
small kids because there are a varieties of features: geysers, canyon&
waterfalls, wild animals. And there is no need of long hikes to get great
view. Facilities (food and lodge) are all reasonable. And you can add a
visit to Teton national park (if you drive from south entrance) and the
nearby cities to the trip as well.

现在浑身哪都疼. 到了ny state最高的地方据说. on top of a waterfall.
很壮观. 有些残迹. 多位名人曾出没什么的. 没有一点痕迹其实. 石头
上照例留有字迹 -- greece/1831年 etc. 在waterfall顶上看, 想起beach
里的镜头.很有往下跳的欲望. 无奈底下是石头多.估计承不住我..
然后沿峭壁往下来. 到了瀑布中间一层.水花激起彩虹. 又爬石头在水浦中间layer
的背后. 外面是水帘. 没找着水帘洞. 很多积雪. 本来以为是白色岩石呢.

【侨报纽约网报道】每年，总部位于法国的米其林集团（Michelin）都会提供纽约和世
界其他城市的旅游指南和餐厅评级。近日，米其林出炉一份最新的餐厅推荐榜单，大苹
果126家物美价廉的餐厅获得了“米其林车胎人美食（Bib Gourmand）”的殊荣，为读
者提供了一系列优质美味而又经济实惠的餐厅选择。华人社区新兴餐厅“西安名吃
Biang”也荣登该榜单。
根据《纽约每日新闻》报道，在2015年的纽约“米其林车胎人美食”榜单上，聚集众多
美食饕餮者的曼哈顿共有68家餐厅入围，其中包括哈林区的“Miss Mamie's
