扭腰城里扭腰记：Pub余生
余居扭腰城二载余，冗务缠身，无暇及它，前日binbin偶得coupon一，免入场费
可入某popular pub曰“webster hall”者，适逢周末，正欲忘却实验烦忧种种，数人
皆欣然，计有余，BH，LZ，KG，WD，JJ共6人前往，JJ仍一under是也，仅逾21岁-此法
定可入pub年龄-两载，吾等教唆幼童？先往23街Dallas BBQ聚餐，此地甚有梁山好汉风
，大碗喝酒大块吃肉，尤以巨杯(texas size)frozen drinks骇人，其baby back ribs
更是嫩滑味美，竟可比无锡酱排骨，其它虽泛泛，其量其色形亦值一赞。
餐罢未至9点，Pub位11街，乃步行前往，锦衣夜行，遍揽扭腰downtown之华灯，
沿途shop若干，教堂数座，又经Greenwich village, 曾为窘迫艺术家聚集地，如今彩
虹一族多驻足，扭腰之有容乃大，可见一斑。
按门牌索至，并无灯火辉煌，只有小字依稀可见“webster hall”，原来10点开
门，尚差5分，门前三三两两客人，sgmv。俄顷， |

Divisadro, Webster, and Van Ness.
19 and Van Ness are main roads that are easy to drive. Divisadero and
Webster are the small ones that I often take, but I don't suggest them to
newcomers. Going north is fine, but if you are going south, the hill
climbing to pacific heights on these two streets could be intimidating. You
need a car with hill holding capability to feel comfortable. |

Concord River 去过几次，钓到过不小的Pike，我知道有人搞到过6LB大口，我没有弄
到过大的。Black Crappie也不少，钓了没用，又没手感，又不能吃--这条河灰常怀疑
有污染。
Littleton的Long Pond，我去年深秋想试试，NND,水位太低，船放不下。现在水位可能
高了，但是人也多了，停车加Trailer不方便。附近还有几个小Pond，NashuaRiver，
Charles River，我都去过。比较喜欢Webster Lake 在Webster Worcester County。 |

其实巨人Webster抄截龙哥的例子，还是可能有破绽的。就是看角卫的眼神。玩zone的
都看四分卫，玩盯人都看外接手。我不知道Webster当时的眼神是怎样。他要是做到开
球前一直看外接，而开球后再看四分卫的话，那就真是演技高反应快。龙哥被骗的不冤
。要是开球前就偷看四分卫的话，他就暴露了有擅离职守抄截四分卫的动机。但是四分
卫要是每次都能把这些读出来的话，就是神了。也就大曼宁接近这个水平。可以从球员

去了Santa Catalina岛，本文限于Santa Barbara岛。
一路开船过去，说是帆船，其实大部分时间是机动。
停泊在风光旖旎的Landing Cove。
刚刚爬上码头，海狮就上来欢迎。
上岛徒步，回望港湾。近处是巨向日葵（Giant Coreopsis）,远处为Arch Point。
巨向日葵在蓝天白云衬托下的剪影。
徒步至岛上的最高点Signal Peak，可以看见Sutil Island小岛。
下坡折往Webster Point，通过鹈鹕（pelican）的世界。

纪的英国城市伯明翰（Birmingham)，以铸造假币闻名。很快的伯明翰成了假货的代言

啊，不过感觉它对写作作用不太大。
我觉得除了看英文解释还要看例句，就是这方面给母语的人的字典和learner's
dictionary的不同之处。。。
不知道国内的是不是盗版，不过我只记得国内书局里面见到的资质没有那么滑（我很喜
欢看书的纸质）。。。
