讲，生源质量要比CCA低一些。
2. TP, Westview很多人抱怨学校投了太多钱在Football上，CCA连Football都没有，钱
大都用在ARTS和SCIENCE上了。所以很多STEM和ARTS强的小孩愿意选CCA，升学的结果可
想而知。 |

上AP课，至上CV是不提倡9年纪学生一上高中就选AP课的。所以很多朋友都讲说
Westview现在是学生压力最大的高中了 |

难道Newsweek很看重那个什么DUAL ENROLLMENT的%？ 很多WESTVIEW的孩子同修大学课
吗？
还有就是好像STUDENT RETENTION RATE， WESTVIEW也高。是不是CCA竞争太剧烈10.4%
的孩子九年级后大逃亡了呢？

that the # of students in senior is much less than other grades, it's

冷战结束后，中国媒介一直纠缠於民族主义和全球化之间。自从在天安门事件中迷失政
治方向，中国不得不拥抱资本主义以挽救社会主义；经济发展和民族主义取代了破产的
共产主义，为政权的合法性提供新依据。另一方面，中美联合对付苏联的策略结盟随冷
战结束而瓦解，天安门事件更使美国振振有词地抵制中国。1990年代中期，美国的对华
政策有几次转向，先从围堵逐渐变为来往，又从来往变为企图将中国纳入全球化的轨道
，以期一步步促进中国的「和平演变」1.尽管中美时陷对立的僵局，中国却拥抱资本主
义，渴望加入世贸组织和获取奥运会主办权，以提昇它在新国际秩序中的地位，乃至於
跨进国际「精英权力俱乐部」的门槛。
民族主义和全球化是矛盾的统一，既共存又竞争。本文旨在讨论两个主题。第一，它们

westview只比 Carlsbad high高20分而已，
而大量qualcom职工聚居的 92127的高中听说还不如westview.
我妹妹跟我抱怨过很多次高中的事情，但是她说 torry pine高中那里房子
太贵了，普通的双职工都买不起。
你不是也买在carlsbad了吗。 |

犹豫的时候就under contract了，走的比想象的快不少。 目前在zillow上，我看的这
个价格范围内的一些房子基本都是有硬伤的： 路冲， 没有yard,临近大路， 或者户型
不好。
说实话我也希望市场不要太热，上周确实被56 Westview Rd 这个房子打击了一下，
listing price是157万，最后接受的offer超过170万。
举几个例子吧，都是open house之后一周内就under contract了

一两个。great school 的分数不一定很准。不过westview 学生很多，平均水平不了解

那里有个westview park, 经常能看到住在附近的一些中国妈妈或祖父母带着小孩在那
玩。
附近的中国人幼儿园有点名气的是刘刚幼儿园：858-695-9361 （要排队等）

面3400不一样哦， 那个是小学中学高中都能走路到， 楼主这个差一点距离， 小学中
学就是另一个故事了， 现在小学应该是willow grove， 开车要10分钟， 中学应该是
black mountain。 将来有规划中的新小学（在westview隔壁估计2-3年内应该能开出来
， 因为去年开出来的willow grove已经满员了）而周围有大量新房子现在正在造， 中
学规划也有新的（在Carmel valley Rd和del sur交界处， 离那个房子走路能到， 但
不知道什么时候能开出来） 那个小区中国人还蛮多的。
啊？ 看错了， 噪音是没有， 不过上高速不方便， 确实绕， 呵呵， 小学是adobe buluffs， 中学依旧是black mountain。 |
