you own the land, you cannot do anything on it. You might need to get
certification of compliance from your town government. The LB should
disclose this type of land to you. Other than that, it doesn't affect your

directly. You need to be away from 100-year flood plain.
In southern states water drainage and wetland will always be a concern. In
northern states it is snow melting and flash flood.
If it is your first house, a better practice is to find an "ordinary" house
in a community with other houses in similar conditions.

can get a large chunk from the town, say 200 acres' worth. And you can only
develop up to 20% of that, the rest must be kept as is.
And the catch is the burden of maintenance of the 80% is on the HOA, and you
can't donate it back to the town :)
In this way, the town got rid of a large wetland it can barely keep up with;
the builder got business going on (no more free lots in this town); and the

会再额外多加rinse2遍。不知道这个实际用水量,会不会超出 普通的为4 bed-room
house设计的leach field的渗水蒸发能力,毕竟人家的设计不会考虑到我们洗衣机每
load一次实际是要洗3遍 用3倍的水
而且那个20米之外的wetland,是不是造成附近地下土壤中的水分都饱和了,无法向下渗
透,只能靠蒸发和蒸腾作用,而在东北地区 冬天6个月温度低,相对湿度高;蒸发蒸腾
的速度 I doubt it. 如果自家的sewer water在leach field无法全部“吸收蒸发”而
慢慢流到了public road上,那可能要收到town里罚款?
这是新房子,还没住过人。别的方面都比较满意,就是对leaching field的摻透蒸发能
力有顾虑 |
