但是对于老人也不太好责备，老妈到转机登机口接我电话的时候声音就很哽咽了，就说
了一句回去的时候让我送到芝加哥机场。老妈几乎是一辈子呆在小县城里，没见过什么
大世面，能安全到达我就谢天
谢地了，下次再吸取教训。
关于轮椅服务，我事先给美联航打了好几次电话，美联航说wheelchair attendant会自
动找
到我妈妈，可能人多了一开始没找到，我妈妈后来又自己走掉了。不过我当时听妈妈说
完后很生气，所以一回家立马
complain了一下，但愿没乱complain。 |

非常顺利。他们飞机晚点一个多小时，转机只用了40分钟，然后下一班飞机起飞前20多
分钟到了登机口。小费$20刀。
PS：不要打国语服务台定wheelchair service,他们唧唧歪歪问你很多，而且基本都会用一些理由退掉，不会帮你定；要打英语服务或者milage plus服务，说明自己可以上下楼就可以了，他们接线员不会多嘴多问，也不会跟你打官腔。 |

I requested the Wheelchair service for her so that she did not have to wait
in the queue.
I called the Customs office in New York twice to ask whether it was legal
for my mom to come again. For the first time, the answer is NO. Putting down
the phone, I realized that I did not describe my mom's situation clearly so
I made a second call. A lady said that it was totally legal.
In my letter to the customs officer, I mentioned that I called the customs
office and got a positive reply .

了, 是买的海航的,但是美国国内段是AA(连票), 在北京的时候,海航的人主动问需不需
要轮椅服务. 后来在美国国内AA登机回国的时候,我们只是在check in的时候说要求
wheelchair,因为怕他们在美国的机场迷路, 人家马上就送来了. 下了飞机后又一直送
到转机的海航登机口. 中国那些破航空公司怎么办事都这么腻味呢...谢谢你提醒,我以
后是坚决不买国航的机票的. |

February. All the major US airlines have this service. My mom flew on UA
for her trip. And at Chiccago O'Hare, someone picked her up at the arrival
terminal, then helped her go through immigration/customs, and then took her
to the terminal for the next flight.
By the way, I called UA about 3 days before my mom's flight. |

第一架呢，就坐我后面，夫妇俩带两娃，
这两个娃呢，一个2岁，一个1岁，1岁的使劲哭，2岁的跟着叫。
1岁哭的声音特别的尖刺，我耳朵都快刺破了。
2岁叫的声音特别的凄惨，惨的我都没法形容。
实在受不了，跟attendant提出换座位，然后小姐给了我一对耳塞，还真管用！
自打耳塞进了耳朵里，娃哭不哭我不知道，反正我是悍然入梦，我这人有个毛病，一旦
睡着了，除非是机长说landing了，不大醒的。一般情况下，从飞机准备take off在地
面滑行的时候，都是我进入梦乡的好季节。
第二架飞机呢，正跟朋友手机聊天呢，准备boarding，猛地回头看到一群熟悉的身影。
。。我靠！ 又是这一家子，居然又和我一架！
上了飞机以后，你们猜怎么着？ 他们家这一架干脆就坐我旁边了，紧挨着我，看得我
这个恼火啊。
下了飞机以后，我心想，咱申请wheelchair service吧，免得又跟他们家撞衫，听到二
娃们还在那揪心似的嚎叫着。
结果呢？ 机场人员也不怎么那么热心，非要等他们一家子和我这个轮椅一起走，我靠

一是事先把机场地图打印下来，解释清楚；二是尽量问问同飞机上的中国人，通常老中
都很乐意帮忙老人的（赞一下!)。
咱们的父母估计会英语的很少；如果所有老中父母来探亲都用轮椅服务，估计很快就谁
都没这个福利了。就好像NORI NORI的生日免费晚餐。。。
美国的几个大机场我基本上都走过，有问题可以一起探讨。 |
