THE PASSIONATE PILGRIM
I.
WHEN my love swears that she is made of truth,
I do believe her, though I know she lies,
That she might think me some untutor'd youth,
Unskilful in the world's false forgeries.
Thus vainly thinking that she thinks me young,
Although I know my years be past the best,
I smiling credit her false-speaking tongue,
Outfacing faults in love with love's ill rest.
But wherefore says my love that she is young?
And wherefore say not I that I am old?
O, love's best habit is a sooth

With means more blessed than my barren rime?
Now stand you on the top of happy hours,
And many maiden gardens, yet unset,
With virtuous wish would bear you living flowers
Much liker than your painted counterfeit:
So should the lines of life that life repair,
Which this Time's pencil, or my pupil pen,
Neither in inward worth nor outward fair,
Can make you live yourself in eyes of men

The Daisy follows soft the Sun --
And when his golden walk is done --
Sits shily at his feet --
He --waking -- finds the flower there --
Wherefore -- Marauder -- art thou here?
Because, Sir, love is sweet !
We are the Flower -- Thou the Sun!
Forgive us, if as days decline --
We nearer steal to Thee !
Enamored of the parting West --
The peace -- The flight -- the Amethyst --
Night's possiblity!

Researchers say they have discovered way to ferment sausages that could turn
the fatty meat product into a health food similar to probiotic yogurts. The
secret ingredient? A type of bacteria found in baby faeces.

Conditions of Salvation Set by Christ
Because we believe that Jesus Christ is the Redeemer, we also accept His
authority to establish the conditions by which we may receive His grace.
Otherwise we would not concern ourselves with being baptized for the dead.
Jesus confirmed that “strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which
leadeth unto life” (Matthew 7:14). Specifically, He said, “Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God”
(John 3:5). This mean...

The Darker Side Of God
If you ask Christians to describe their quasi-chosen god of worship,
you’ll often hear such descriptors as “wonderful” and “loving.” This
choice of selective designation seems commonplace within the Christian
community. In fact, most churches ignore the Old Testament all together so
that the members feel comfortable propagatin...

I have seen God face to face。

The way led along upon what had once been the embankment of a railroad. But
no train had run upon it for many years. The forest on either side swelled
up the slopes of the embankment and crested across it in a green wave of
trees and bushes. The trail was as narrow as a man's body, and was no more
than a wild-animal runway.
Occasionally, a piece of rusty iron, showing through the forest-mold,
advertised that the rail and the ties still remained. In one place, a ten-
inch tree, bursting through...
