。这个公司被卖真不斥是重磅炸弹.
为什么要卖呢？
winder river的founder, Jerry Fiddler是个牛人，他LP也是founder之一, Jerry近几
年致力于biogas的研究， 我大胆猜测是最近取得重大技术突破，或者是商业化模型已
论证，研究成果需要到了进入生产商品化的阶段，需要大笔投资，所以卖掉即使盈利但
是已经没暴利的wind river.
计算机相关行业已是夕阳之末，牛人们要么拼命扩张，大鱼吃小鱼，要么投身新的泡沫
行业。
我们硅工想多赚点钱，不想就这么老老实实被资本家剥削的，也赶紧四处打探，跻身其

多，
本来就不容易organize，有cross wind的时候就更难
一但有strong的break away, 几秒中内没反应过来或者位置靠后，
就很难cross over, 因为前面的break away很有默契，以team time trial 的方式拼命
在骑
后面则一片混乱，七零八落
没风的时候，大部队无论是在aero-dynamic还是人力上都占优势，
平路上几分钟的gap, 大部队只要有两个队诚心要追，基本上不会追不上 |

strong left-to-right wind. Left is ocean and right the hazard. If I hit it
along the fairway, it will for sure blow away to the right side hazard. So
instead i aimed like 45 degree to the left of the fairway. And see the ball
directly head to the ocean, then make a wild curve and landed on the fairway
softly. Did not get much distance, but happy to see the ball flight as
expected.

spend a week at Circus of Towers, and the other week in Teton/Yellowstone
Just wondering who else may be there and perhaps sharing a ride. We're
driving all the way from Detroit
Adding Wind River, Teton and Devil's tower, perhaps we'll cover four classic
climbs out of the 50 Classic Climbs in North America in one trip. Excited! |

...哪里的都有，还有很多rental car，每年夏天，远道而来的人们汇聚这里。路上见
到的90%的人都背了>50lb的大包。这里backpacking的时间，是以"week"计算的。你要
是跟人说你只在wind呆了几天别人会惊讶的。
2. Cirqus of Towers和Deep Lake是两个最popular的climbing area，其中Cirque一个
地方就有2条50cc的路线。但很多人更喜欢Deep Lake。Deep Lake的海拔要低一点,
camping在树林里面，攀爬路线中4-8pitch的中等长度，中等难度的路线更多。而且视
野开阔，storm 来临的时候可以更早发现。
3. 这次的partner是个从来没有backpacking过的同学，虽然也一天car to car爬过
half dome，觉得他应该没问题，结果这次真的发现问题还是很大的。Wind的路线是需
要mountaineering的常识的，否则会犯很多错误。举几个例子：

pitch拿到别的地方都可以成为classics
岩石的质量也异常solid。我毕竟是爬惯了光溜溜的砂岩的，一开始lead的第一个pitch
连class 4都不放心，都要放pro。后来习惯了花岗岩的质地，行动就快多了。
除了wind river，我们在WY爬了几天limestone。习惯了花岗岩的粗糙，在光溜溜的石
灰岩上leading真是心惊胆战。

times I was staring at the crack and thinking: I wish I have hex...You don't
have to use tri-cam in the winds though. |

的CD，立刻对这首有着忧伤的曲调，含蓄但饱含追忆色彩的歌有一种莫名的感动。多年

这个雪季是我进步最多的一个雪季。大多数时间还是花在美国中部的各个小雪场，
节假日偷空和好友们体验了Snowmass, Park city, Canyons, Vail，和copper mtn。受
了两次伤，进了一次急诊室。学习了FS360和front flip，还在pipe里小试牛刀。
记得三年前我还在这里信誓旦旦的说要三年内练成FS540，可惜各种原因最终事与
愿违。我也不再像过去那样风风火火，年少轻狂。三年时间让我变了很多：有了美好家
庭和可爱的金毛狗Burton。接下来要忙着实习，毕业，找工作，不知道明年的冬天还有
没有机会再滑。但是滑雪已经融入我的血液，注定今生相伴。

RWDI in Canada and the other one is CPP in Colorado. RWDI is bigger and more
successful in business. CPP was found by Pro. Jack Cermak, the pioneer of
modern wind engineering. Both are hiring now. If you have good background on
high rise or bridge, I don't think it is very hard to find the chance. I am

这个软件不好的地方是三维立体感差，细节不够。但是可以看出很多东西了。有个功
能叫PLACE FINDER(在图标按钮的左起第四个健)，敲击一个城市如 lhasa 可以给出
细节，按图滚动可以看一些其他地区地貌。
可以看到：西北某些地区(戈壁)风蚀得实在恐怖，估计很难有挽回的余地(没有经济产出
、
水源、土壤、气候等条件，环境治理的成本没法收回，只有想一些其他用途和靠天
了)
西藏、青海地区又自成一体，尤其是西藏地区，海拔太高，不可能有太多的物流交
换，而且其气候非本地人很难适应。但是，无论是从降雨量和湖泊数量都证实自然
条件是有潜力的。估计要有一些适应本地的设计。比如交通方面，是不是用铁路运
输联网更具能源优势？ |
