owns around 400bn of PIIGS debt. 55bn saving in three years is only enough
to cover the interest cost. not to mention the existing deficit, rising
interest cost, collateral damages of the austerity measures, which incolude
reduced tax revenue, reduce export to Club Med, more social turmoil cost,
etc. Germans dont want to bail out PIIGS even though they can afford it.

i strongly support obamacare. i didnt read the actual law but did digest
good amount of info on wikipedia. my family and i couldnt afford any health
insurance and werent eligible for medicaid. i didnt have my health insurance
until college.

版上关心的AA等问题完全是只有SCOTUS才能解决的问题，跟谁当总统谁管参院基本毛关
系都没有。SCOTUS是总统推选，国会批准，历史上有因为ideology问题被国会拒绝的很
多例子，最近的有里根硬推保守派被民主党国会拒绝，这样才有了著名的swing vote
Kennedy.
美国政治局这些年的两极分化，跟当时被提名时的国会状态有很大关系。因为SCOTUS提
名基本不能filibuster（太重要导致filibuster很难有效），所以基本上只要控制国会
就可以推自己想推的人。目前Liberal的4位法官全都是在民主党同时控制总统和参院时
当选，而保守派的4位法官有3位是这样。只有两位法官在共和党总统/民主党参院时当
选，其中就有一位重要的中间派Kennedy。
我认为对华人有利的是更多的反对AA的中间派，我们不应该支持极左，也不应该支持极
右。右派把持下的SCOTUS判决的各种如Citizen United之类的法律也不是很好，反应富
