Brooklyn college 到 3号线 New Lots ave 再到A线 ozone park 到E,J,Z 的Jamaica
ave.继续连接到F线179ST.在链接7号线flushing Main Street .然后再向上连接6号线
的Pelham bay park, 然后5号线的eastchester dyre ave, 2号线的Wakefield 241st,
4号线的Woodlawn 终点到1号线 van court land park 242st. 另外4号线Woodlawn 和D
线Norwood 205st加条shuttle train. 估计可以大大减少曼哈顿的交通压力。也可以缩

不好意思，我自己还没仔细看整个书单，只注意我娃的年级的了。刚才看了下，真的哎
，是有点问题：有些 chapter book 对学前的孩子来说是太难了。象下面的几本，
caddie Woodlawn, Door in the Wall, Rascal, understood Besty, Little Princess
, Tale of Despereaux, 好象是大娃三四五年级才读的。还有，C.S. Lewis 的Lion
the Witch and the Wardrobe 还有 Laura Ingalls 的草原小屋系列，如果是
unabridged version, 超过一般学前孩子的理解力了。书，倒都是好书。
But, as read- aloud books, if they can hold your child's interest, then go
for it. They do NOT need to understand all the vocabulary.
Charlotte's Web 孩子小的时候没给他们读过。我家老二阅读起步较晚，读的也慢，

是：East Park Towers, Museum Walk Apartment, Woodlawn House Apartment。
我现在人在东部，只能从网上了解这三个地方的情况。我是打算过去之前找好房子，签
好合同，然后搬过去直接入住。于是，我想在网上找关于这三个地方的评论。可惜，网
上的评论不多，没有足够的信息让我能马上做个决定是签那边的合同。
所以，想在此问问各位芝加哥版的童鞋们。如果有谁对这几个buildings有所了解，请

街是双向的，所以很方便， 最安全的区是55街到58街，elise 到 DORCHESTER 这个长
方形里。我当初找房子也是只考虑这个范围内的。不过 我很多朋友住regent park, 可
以看到湖景， 比较贵就是了，studio 都要1000块。 有免费bus 给faculty, staff
and students 到学校. 如果你是女孩的话，我倒是可以考虑租间房给你。。。 |

ave，往东不要掉进lake Michigan.
在这个范围内，越往中心越安全。
其实主要因为是这个区域内，有职大校警巡逻。而且晚上有night bus和safe ride，所
以相对安全。
５８街／WOODLAWN属于相对安全的区域。但是依然要小心在意。即使这样那一带依然发
生过多次抢劫。 |

我住在倒数第二站，Moshulu Pkwy旁边，感觉还不错，住了块三年了，门口就是个大医
院，周围的居民都是安定的上班族，还有医院里的护士，医生居多 交通便利，挺方
便的 不过一般中国人或者说亚洲人很少有过来Bronx住的了 |

挂的那个韩国哥是在kingsbridge和riverdale交界处挂的，而且是凌晨12点半走在一个
小路上被抢的，这是riverdale 4年来唯一的一次命案。
bronx好的区，有riverdale, 85%是白人，主要是jewish. morris park, 75%是白人，
主要是italian, 靠近albert einstein college of medicine, 满多中国人postdoc住
的，主要以house为主。pelham parkway/bronxdale,以apartment为主 很多fordham
university学生和附近医院的medical resident住。woodlawn, 80%是白人，主要是
irish.
像city island, country club, 都是house, 有车可以考虑，治安很好。
其他区，尤其是south bronx, central bronx, think twice before moving in. |

在一个晚间新闻发布会上，纽约州州长葛谟宣布了有关交通的应急措施。根据
他的这项声明，11月1日和2日两天内的某些时段，所有的城际铁路、地铁和巴士将对民
众免费运营。
据纽约电视1台报道，具体的运行方案如下：
地铁方面，从1日凌晨0点到早间交通高峰期，将运营以下线路和区间：
1号线：从布朗士区242街到曼哈顿时报广场-42街。
2号线：从布朗士区241街到曼哈顿时报广场-42街，其中从96街到时报广场间
将走快线。
4号线：从布朗士区Woodlawn到曼哈顿大中央车站-42街；以及从布碌仑市政厅
到New Lots大道。上述两段均走慢线。
5号线：从布碌仑大西洋大道-巴克莱中心到Flatbush大道之间走快线。
6号线：从Pelham湾公园到大中央车站-42街走慢线。
S号线：从时报广场到大中央车站。

纽约市地铁线路：
地铁所有线路基本都已恢复服务,在目前特殊情况下,每趟车之间将至少有10分钟的间隔。
出行前可登录www.mta.info查询最新路况。
地铁2号线：241街（布朗士）- 42街时代广场 慢车通行，96-42街 快车通行
地铁3号线：停运
地铁4号线：Woodlawn（布朗士）- 42街中央车站 慢车通行
Borough Hall和New Lots之间 慢车通行
地铁5号线：布碌仑Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center和Flatbush大道之间 快车通行.
布朗士 东180街与Dyre 大道之间有接驳车运行。
地铁6号线：Pelham Bay Park和42街中央车站 慢车通行
地铁7号线：从法拉盛到74街恢复
42街和中央车站之间可乘坐S车中转
A线：168街（曼哈顿）-34街火车站 慢车通行
