soffit and hot air rise and exit ridge vent)
If you want to in non-electric, consider an attic wind turbine.
No matter what you do, just make sure you have adequate soffit venting
. (I am guessing it is build to code already) |

I assume the house is already build to code.
If you plan to live in this house for long time and want roof to really last
, consider upgrade to metal roof, tile roof, slate roof.
If you want to save money in cooling cost, there are many other things you
can do that is better than adding ridge vents.
If you just want to work on your new house every weekend, that is a
different story.
I need to know why first, before I can better guide you.

换屋顶的话，等现在的屋顶寿命到了以后再换吧。周末估计不会有什么时间花在房子上
，比较忙。

有腐烂现象，inspector说建议要换窗户。我们又以这个理由，让卖家减了1万，说看房
的时候看不出来窗户会有问题，没有expect会有这么大的expense在后面，我们出offer
的时候也是based on我们肉眼看到的condition出的，但是现在实际情况比我们预想的
糟，最后磨了磨卖家同意减8000，我又push了一下说一定要减1万，最后listing agent
自己减了2000块的经纪费给卖家close了deal。
agent一般也都是给意见啊，但是还是要相信自己的判断，自己认为买的值才不会后悔。 |
