现在在保险公司做精算，ASA还差点。H1B第四4年了，公司准备给办绿卡。虽然我有
Master Degree，但job requirements学历上只要求Bachelor，这样只能办EB-3，不能
办EB-2。
版上各位做精算的有什么经验么？工作要求是不是都是Bachelor，绿卡有办EB-2的么？

Did he/she has MS degree as part of the job requirement?
Or Bachelor w/ 5 yr working experience, this is hard based on H1B 6 year
limit.

I think the only way is to convince the company to set up the job
requirement to include MS degree, although to your point actuarial related
job requires bachelor degree to be the industry standard which I totally
agree.

给不给办EB2都是公司政策，你拿着别的公司的例子去找你们公司商量基本上没什么用

EB2.

EB3交上去之后，在过几年，够5年经验，再办EB2也是一个办法。

以前一直听人说可以这么做，但是前些日子找了很多律师，结果都很受打击，感觉上如
果公司不肯给写要求硕士学位，办EB2可能性及其渺茫。。。。。。 |

EB‐2
Members of Professions Holding Advanced Degrees
Job requires:
A. Advanced degree (Master's or PhD)
or
B. Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of progressive experience
However, it is tricky to count this 5 years of progressive experience. The
experience counted must be related to what you do now and experience from
your current position somehow can't be counted.

但是愿意写bachelor+5year experience
当年和公司斗争的最后结果是写 master+2year exp or bachelor+5year experience
这样就勉强可以办eb2了 |

发帖数: 59 | 21 Based on info I got from several attorneys, it is not that simple. Here is
what they told me and I hope they are wrong -
For EB2, advanced degree is the primary requirement and Bachelor+5yrs is the
equivalent. You may have no problem with DOL for EB2 Perm, even I-140.
However, when it comes to I-485, USCIS would say, if the PRIMARY job
requirement says adv degree --> EB2; otherwise, EB3. If that happens, it is
very likely USCIS will revoke your approve I-140 and require you to re-apply
as EB3. True there are people still are able to get their EB2 by B+5yrs,
but it is much harder than before.
