Apple computer is not popular in China because of the following
conditions:
First, Macintoshes are expensive, much expensive than Windows PCs,
because nobody pay the software for Windows PC, and it is much harder
to pirate the Macintosh software.
Second, Windows PC use open architecture and standard, everyone can
get the interface specification to manufacture the peripherals for
the Wintel platform, but you cannot do that for Apple until you pay a
