大概几个月前,同事被后面的车撞了,当时满头鲜血进了emergency,用的是自己的医疗保
险.
现在的情况是这样的,医疗保险公司和他联系(目前已经第三次),要求他说明什么原因进
emergency,如果车祸且是对方原因,保险公司就不付帐了.
同事联系自己的车祸律师,律师让他不要理会自己的保险公司的任何问题,而且不要让保
险公司知道该律师的存在
总觉得很奇怪,既然律师代理了,为什么不敢和他的保险公司联系呢

the claim process.
bad lawyer can get you in trouble. few years ago FBI investaged car
accident lawyers in Los Angeles, mainly small chinese lawyers for bodily
injury claim frauds.

如果不信任律师，就换一个。如果认为自己能在短时间成为法律专家，就不用请律师。
花钱请律师又
不信任，是双输的局面。
有任何疑问最好的办法是问自己的律师。律师对签约客户有法律上的责任，也比大多数
网上的普通网
友法律知识多。
法律方面的疑问，有律师的问律师，还没有的去找律师或者多咨询几个。实在不行到法
律网站问也比
到处乱问强。

the lawyer should take care of EVERYTHING related to this case for the
client. ignoring insurance company, doesn't matter car insurance of health
insurance, is never never a wise move in my view.
at best the insurance companies will get confused and double pay the
hospital and create paper work nightmare.
at worst none of them pay the hospital and the bill will go to collection
agency against LZ's name and credit history.

care what you will end up with. If you go to emergency room, the insurance
will not pay. Now the lawyer want to let the insurance pay for the emergency
care, so that you and the laywer do not need to share the money with the
hospital.
It is generally good for you. However, if the insurance company was notified
what happened, or you claimed to be hurt in the accident when went to the
emergency room, the insurance may come to you and claim money from you. So
if you want to take the chance and get more money, you can continue with the
current lawyer. If you are afraid of the consequences, then find a
different lawyer. |

不过同事已经和该律师谈好了，要告诉保险公司所有相关事宜都交给该律师处理了。

费用和赔付算在
这个车祸案子的cost里，也就是和律师分钱之前出，律师费全免；协商阶段解决付给医
疗保险公司的钱
也是算在车祸案子的cost里。

it's the STANDARD procedure. accident lawyers do not charge clients 1
cent. it's all from insurance reimbursement. client pay nothing and the
lawyer get nothing if there is no settlement payment.
auto accident lawyer work quite differently than other lawyers. if LZ
didn't get a STANDARD auto accident claim contract with the lawyer, there
is no chance the lawyer will sign such agreement now.

既然找了律师就要尽量相信律师，如果实在信不过就换一个，也比在这里发帖子问一群
外行强
另外，澄清一个误解，做人体伤害这一行的好律师很少有“BIG REPUTABLE FIRM”里的
。原因很简单， BIG LAW 的稳定收入来自大客户，大公司（包括保险公司)，所以他们
愿意帮人辩护，按小时收钱，肯自己ADVANCE COSTS来帮原告的太少。
举个例子，ARASH HAMARPOUR 是洛杉矶地区的顶尖原告律师，过去几年内赢来的赔偿额
就超过一亿，但他的律师行一共就两个律师，其中一个是他自己。
另外像 MICHAEL ALDER, GARY A. DORDICK, DON KEENAN, RICK FRIEDMAN 这些在法律
界响当当的名字，他们自己的律师楼规模也都很小，一般都不到10人。 |
