事情是这样的，我本来也没打算买车，但我们小区有一个人因为lay off，急于要卖车
： 2012 BMW X3 xDrive28i，额外配置有：
Titanium Silver Metallic
Black Leatherette
Power tailgate
Roof rails in Aluminum Stain
Panoramic moonroof
Split fold-down-rear seat
heated front seats
Satellite radio w/1 year sub.
BMW Asst w/ enhanced BT & USB
车子是5个月前才买的，现在5000miles不到。车主给我看了她买时的配置单，上面显示
Total Suggested Retail Price 是$42,345。她现在卖给我，开始(两天前)要价$37,
000，今天降到$35,900。大家帮我看看这个价格怎么样？
另外，其实这个车子现车主是lease的，她说我现在有两个options，一个就是她先buy
out,然后以上面的价格卖给我；第二个option就是我继续她的lease (她的lease 总共
36个月，所以我还要负责31个月)。 她当时交了$10,000的down payment,现在每个月交
$580。如果把lease转给我，她把$10,000 down payment拿掉，我每个月付$760（不太
记得这个数字了）。我是想lease的，但不知道如果我选option 2，应该如何砍价呢？ |

Total Suggested Retail Price 是$42,345 that is not the price she paid
so I would be careful about the lease numbers as well, here is a simple
calculation:
the car's overinflated worth at time of lease 42k,
downpay 10k,
her total payment over 3 years 580 x 36 = 20880
(interest is estimated at 880 for convenience of calculation).
calculated residue value aftre 3 years = 42k - 10k - 20k = 12k
so according to her, after three years this car is only going to worth 12k
give me a break, my accord is worth more than that at my honda dealer after
3 years |

他给你看得是MSRP的价钱，车没有按照MSRP卖的，他拿到的是一定比这个低很多的。他
买你35900说不定5个月前他拿到的车价就这个上下。算上他这几个月的使用，卖主一点
也不亏。
我要是你，这个根本不会去考虑，自己去lease一个新的比弄这么个二手新车省心多了

你看看MSRP以作参考。
Per her Option #1 offer; you may refer to KBB.com as reference:
(there's no 2012 BMW used car available, so I chose 2011)
2011 BMW X3 xDrive28i, 5000mile, no Add-on, excellent condition:
Private parties: $36,602 (may get away with lower tax)
Suggested Retail: $38,602 + Tax + Fee
Certified Pre-owned: $40,302 + Tax + Fee.
Looks like $35,900 is a good deal to me already; you may consider to cut it
down to $35,000 or lower.
Option #2:
Per my understanding; her lease will cost her
$10,000 + $580 x 36 = $30,880 after all; that's $858 per month. She doesn't
own the car by the end of the lease.
The offer of $760 per month to lease the car sounds better than what she
signed for. You may consider to negotiate to lower the monthly lease
payment if you want. |

很多人经常换车不是他们买了，用了，再卖。是lease 完后再lease 别的。
