is rather in the rear seat, or specifically, the 5th seat when you take
passengers.
if you need to haul 5 adults from time to time, or have tall passengers, you
may consider a larger interior. otherwise, the space in the volt is pretty
decent. the only way to find out is to set up a test drive.
I have been driving my family around with my gen2 volt. my son's car seat
makes the rear somewhat tight, but workable. seating for 4 is always
comfortable in either generations of volt.
but on the other hand, the more you drive with the battery, the more you
will want it. it feels so much better. so to me, the range is my #1 priority
