红绿灯，我看到行人离我还算远，就以不快的速度开过去了，没有停下来。
今年1月去了clerk hearing，没appeal成功，当天要求judge hearing。交了50块钱，
安排我1月底hearing。
听说judge hearing那个给罚单的police一定要到场，如果不到场我就赢了。但单子上
写'Continuances are not allowed. However, in an emergency, request for
continuances MUST be directed to the police prosecutor of that police
department no later than five days prior to the scheduled trial.
请问和police department申请的时候用什么样的借口比较行得通？
