no, Toyota's vision is fool cell. PiP is just another low-volume compliance
car, like RAV4 EV, to allow it to sell more gas cars in the CARB states.
Toyo has been left far behind in the EV game.

So why isn't Toyota plowing all its resources into electric cars? Tabuchi
says:
Batteries aren't ready.
Toyota doesn't want to churn out some crap electric that tarnishes the brand.
Electric cars are going to be expensive, with low margins.
Have you noticed the $4.4 billion loss from last year? Maybe not the best
time to burn a billion dollars on an electric project.
Is the mass market ready for an electric car? Probably not.
Hydrogen! Toyota is developing a better alternative car technology.

热车。开长途prius/cmax之类的发动机不比电厂效率低多少,再考虑到冬天暖气,还有
充电损耗,就比电车效率高多了。
反正需要暖气的天,我的Cmax开长途前是不充电的。

实际上现在锂电车性能上也基本上就这样了。能改进的就是价格和充电网络。如果能稍
微将就一点,油象中国这样多收点税,普及没问题。
