收到Chevy的3000块private offer，心一横决定买了。
MSRP；$34095
sale price: $25200 (after using $3000 private offer)
OTD: $27900
心太软，没有坚决使用转身就走大法，要不估计2w5 before TTL就能拿下，跟dealer砍
了一个小时，最后实在没力气再上演一遍熟悉的套路。不过减去联邦（7500）和州（
1500）还有电力公司（500 by PG&E）的补贴，这车实际卖价也不算高了。TAX他硬要按
before $3000 rebate的来算，我也懒得跟他argue了。dealer嘛，为了赚钱是没有底限
的。
车本身加速还行，内饰较粗糙，塑料感强，后排headroom极小，我177的个子坐上都快
顶到头。不过这车只是给我LD用来commute，所以她喜欢就好。 |

btw: both fed and CA rebate has income requirements.
Many chinese family won't qualify due to that.

to him/current resident.
I knew there's an upper income limit in order to qualify for the California
rebate. Is there also such a thing for the federal tax credit? How much is
it?

就是头部空间稍小，但是腿部空间反而大，prius后排腿部33.4，volt是34.7
就是后备箱确实小多了

if your tax bill is $6,200, you’ll be able to claim only a $6,200 credit.
The government won’t send you a check for the remaining $1,300 and you can
’t carry it over to the next year.
If you lease, the credit goes to the leasing company. But to encourage
people to lease plug-in electric vehicles, leasing companies, which are
usually owned by the automakers, often apply the rebate to the lease. That
reduces your monthly payments and sometimes cuts the down payment that many
leases require.
You can find the maximum credit for models you’re considering on the
federal Energy Department’s tax credits site.
