start sites on the 5'UTR using liver total RNA. the expected result is that
there should be several bands running on gel. but now only the shortest band
shows up. anybody can help me out or give me some tricks or explaination?

I have tried 30 minutes, one hour and tow hours, but there was not a big
change.
I am using the primer extension kit from promega. the reverse transcriptase is
AMV.
any other suggestion?
