if you need apply travel-certificate for your child from Chinese embassy,
you and your husband need be both present to apply. if your husband can't be
there, he need provide a legal document (notarized?) to prove he gave you
consent to apply travel certificate for your child....
if your child doesn't need travel certificate (lv xing zheng), you don't
have this issue at all.
