term contract with redsox. the gm was dan duke, of whom redsox
nation considered it one of accomplishments.
1. at the end of last season, redsox gave him a 15M 4 year contract,
he turned it down because he wanted a jetter/arod's money, say at
least 19M/yr.
2. Then arod event happened. he said he's hurt because he wanted
to play at redsox.
3. since then he's never happy at redsox, never smailed when playing.
