out simply because he gave 2 hits leading off the 5th with 3 run lead.
The bullpen is not supposed to get ready so early. And allowing lefty
Garcia to face Fielder was perfectly fine. Cards don't have many good
lefties in bullpen to burn. You know Fielder isn't as bad as Howard,
who can be handled by any garbage lefties.

方送大礼，包括NLDS的第三场。问题是谁也预计不到他什么时候掉链子，TLR也没有办
法。

Duncan should have visited the mount
at least try to slower Garcia's pace a little bit and ask Bullpen to start
warming up
instead, Garcia gave up two quick first pitch hits and got knocked out

strike zone的正正正中给人家轰。无数人说过Garcia只能打主场，今天用他的确是冒
险。

Dotel was clearly not finishing his warm up
Lohse would not be better than Garcia

even give tlr 5 innings, how can Cards bullpen handle the remaining games?

very useful stat.

raw talents from Garcia, and I think he's just one of those
mediocre pitchers that Duncan magically makes useful.

that "surrender"? Any evidence proving any relievers would do better
against Fielder?
ps: I'm talking about the remaining gameS. Lohse and Jackson need
bullpen to cover their ass. Managers can't let game 1 screw up

播中看见他很夸张地对空气说了一声"WOW!" 事后也对记者说这是他(TLR)的决定，自己
当时感觉良好等等。

Was'nt this what tls did that day? I have no problem with it. My point
was if Duncan paid a mount visit before Braun and Fielder coming up, it
at least can buy some time for Dotel. If Dotel did not give up that HR,
Cards should still have some chance.
Cards bring one more reliever for this series and there are off days.
Moving to the bullpen earlier is not that a big deal.
PS: Brewer is a solid and balanced team. But none of their starters is
really dominant.
