Executive Director of Discovery Biology
Location: Beijing
Key activities: Oversee biology-related research and drug discovery
activities to execute departmental strategies and meet deliverables.
Successful candidate is also responsible for biology resource allocation,
recruitment and the professional development of biology staff.
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in biology, cell biology, immunology, biochemistry,
virology, pharmacology or a related field with an outstanding scientific
track record
• More than fifteen years of drug discovery experience in drug
discovery target identification, lead identification/optimization and
clinical candidate selection/development; biomarker research a plus
• Extensive experience in managing Ph.D. and non-Ph.D. scientists
and leading drug discovery projects
• Successful track record in advancing compounds or biologics into
clinical development
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills

Senior Director/ Director/Associate Director of Discovery Biology
(Immunology)
Location: Beijing
The qualified candidate will lead a team of in vitro biologists to develop
and carry out in vitro biology assays and work with the BioDuro chemistry,
DMPK and in vivo pharmacology teams to support lead identification/
optimization stage drug discovery projects in inflammatory diseases. Duties
include supervising Ph.D. and non-Ph.D. in vitro biologists in primary and
secondary assay development and compound profiling, planning and executing
project strategies, delivering results to meet project timelines, and
interacting with clients.
Requirements:
• Ph.D. immunologist with 7+ years of big pharma or biotech drug
discovery experience in autoimmune, respiratory or infectious diseases
• Well-versed in modern drug discovery technologies and assays
• Experienced in supervising and leading drug discovery projects
• Excellent organization and written/spoken communication skills

Senior Director/Director/Associate Director in Discovery Biology
(Inflammatory Diseases; Metabolic Diseases; Infectious Diseases; CNS
Diseases)
(Location: Beijing)
Key activities: Lead the biology team to carry out efficacy and PK/PD
studies of compounds/protein therapeutics in the therapeutic areas; direct
the development and validation of disease models and ex vivo PK/PD studies;
guide the drug discovery program; deliver results; and interact with clients.
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in biology or a related field
• More than seven years of drug discovery experience in biology (
inflammatory diseases, metabolic diseases, infectious diseases or CNS
diseases)
• Ability to independently plan, supervise and direct projects to
completion
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills
