We are looking for team leaders in bioinformatics to perform next generation
sequencing data analysis in newly formed WuXi AppTec Genomics Center in
Shanghai. Requirements: Ph.D. or Master in bioinformatics, computational
biology, genomics, statistics or a related field with minimum 3 years hands-
on experience in bioinformatics (1 year in NGS data analysis, preferred in a
genomics center). In-depth knowledge in existing NGS data analysis software
/tools and databases. Proficiency in genomics, NGS technology and its
applications. Expert in Linux and programming/scripting languages (perl,
python, R, java etc.) and relational database design. Demonstrated
capability of creative thinking and problem solving. Strong organizational
and teamwork skills with project management experience. Excellent
communication skills in both English and Chinese.
