UTR长短不同，产生的蛋白是一样的(即同一个isoform)，那要这种不同的transcript
variant什么用， 控制translation level，调节表达量？ 还有其他作用吗？ |

发帖数: 1015 | 2 不同的UTR（如果是真的），应该是alternative promoter造成的
如果数据库中的5UTR只是长度不一样，则可能是由于测序不完全造成的，要选择经过
5RACE得到的结果。

发帖数: 435 | 4 问题带有误导性，基因不是“主动”去产生多个transcript variants，应该是一些偶
然的因素导致基因扩增，没有导致什么严重的后果，甚至可能有优势，就保存下来了。 |

Currently I only could think of these two reasons, please share with us if
you could think some other reasons.

protein with different promoters. Why do you need 14 copies of histone H4
genes? |

Are all the transcripts existed successfully translated?
Are there any bias in the abundance among the transcripts regard to tissue/
cell-type or abiotic/biotic stress?
