Would anyone know the minimal size of the exterior door for a single house
in MA?
We are remodeling our house and trying to build a sliding door facing our
deck. Our house has a front door, a door for the basement. This sliding door
will be the 3rd exterior door locating at the rear.
The inspector from the town came and left a note that the sliding door is
too small. The door is measured as 5 feet in width and 8 feet in height. The
approximate measurement of the real entrance size is ~ 22-23 inches.
I am trying to find the building code for the door but couldn't find any
confirmative information.
Does anyone has the experience or the knowledge?

上了， 新门密封性更好， 节能， 也许要开后门墙， 扩大门框吧。

旦火灾时逃出去需要的时间短（猜想而已），地下室作卧房的话有逃生的窗门吗？ 你
想逃避法规， 等于是逃避对自己家人的安全责任了吧？当然，你的家事你决定。

inspector都來看了, 表示當初有permit才做的, 這應該是contractor要搞定的呀? |
