vulnerabilities.
For those who are not familiar with board-a-match, the idea
is you compare with your teammates, and get 1 pt if you win
the board, 0 if lose, and 0.5 if push. This is generally
regarded as the most grueling and challenging among all
types.
There's an interesting anecdote regarding BAM. Running
concurrent with the Open BAM is the women's BAM. The chinese
women's team was in Boston playing the 1999 Fall national.
