Hello Weldon Homeowners,
The Weldon HOA has been notified that there has recently been an increase in
opportunity crimes as well as burglary in the Cary and Morrisville areas.
There has been an increased number of home break-ins and vehicle break-ins
reported to police. We are not aware that any of these crimes have been
committed in the Weldon community.
The Cary Police Department has requested that we offer these reminders.
Be aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious activity. Trust
your instincts. You live in your neighborhood every day and you know what
“doesn’t look right”.
Make sure that your motion floodlights are working properly.
Check all doors and windows to ensure they are locked securely.
Do not leave valuables in your car.
If you park in your driveway, keep your vehicle locked, and put any
garage door openers out of sight.
If you see anything suspicious, call 911.
