will give for graduate degree. but that is not very helpful because
the assumption is that you have ABET bachelor.
most of us do not have ABET bachelor's degree. The survey here
is to help foreigners like myself.

再加两年经验。FT. 其实国内大多数学校的本科教育都不比这边弱，理论基础其实更强
。但没办法，在人家的地方，没有人家的认证，就要比人矮一截。
我当时就由于在美国的工作年限不够，就拿国内的经验充数，结果也过关了。呵呵。我有一同学，用的是在新加坡读 Master 的两年时间。她说是在做research, 她新加坡的老板有新加坡的 PE, 并帮她在 reference 上盖了章，也顺利地通过了evaluation。

In NV, you can take the PE exam after you pass the EIT. However, you cannot
get the NV PE license without four year experieces in Civil Engineering

之前务必自己做调查研究，不要了犯刻舟求剑的错误。
2.曾经有人用国内的经验，毕业之前intern的经验，或者TA/RA的经验也通过了。至少原
来的OHIO是，可以自己申报经验这样，现在不行了。大趋势是越来越严格，必须是取得
学位之后，在PE指导下完成的工作才算。
另外澄清一下本版的宗旨，版上的发言不是金科玉律，而是分享信息，让广大同学少走
弯路，而不是完全避免弯路。比如你从版上了解到TEXAS不需要学位认证，或者网友告诉
你如何WAIVE 认证的途径，省去你盲目去认证的花费，本版的作用就达到了。总之，自
己的调查研究是不可以免得。

a post doc for 2 yrs after that. Just got a job in FL and company wants me
to transfer PE to FL in 6 months. As for the working experience,Will i get
4 yrs based on FL board? I know phd=1yr + 2 yrs posdoc = 3yrs. Can MS degree
in China be counted as a yr too? That way, I should have 4 yrs.

验必须是after graduation的，国内几年的工作经验看来是没法排上用场了，不过还是想做一下审查人
的工作，写信先问问，看能否搞个国内的工作经历证明说服他们原谅我那差的16天，不过好多老美办事讲原则
的，差一天都不行。那只有再多等半年了。。。

是从大陆来的，在大陆拿的 Bachelor，而大陆没有一所学校通过 ABET 认证，所以要
再加两年经验。FT. 其实国内大多数学校的本科教育都不比这边弱，理论基础其实更强
。但没办法，在人家的地方，没有人家的认证，就要比人矮一截。
我当时就由于在美国的工作年限不够，就拿国内的经验充数，结果也过关了。呵呵。我有一同学，用的是在新加坡读 Master 的两年时间。她说是在做research, 她新加坡的老板有新加坡的 PE, 并帮她在 reference 上盖了章，也顺利地通过了evaluation。

reciprocity to IL, IL board asks you to RE-TAKE pe exam if they found you do
not meet their requirement...

In NV, you can take the PE exam after you pass the EIT. However, you cannot
get the NV PE license without four year experieces in Civil Engineering
after B.S.

Any working experience (part-time or full-time) before graduation data (

1.我的原文是一年之前发了，现在规矩变了也是有可能的。发扬"与时俱进"的谨慎申请
之前务必自己做调查研究，不要了犯刻舟求剑的错误。
2.曾经有人用国内的经验，毕业之前intern的经验，或者TA/RA的经验也通过了。至少原
来的OHIO是，可以自己申报经验这样，现在不行了。大趋势是越来越严格，必须是取得
学位之后，在PE指导下完成的工作才算。
另外澄清一下本版的宗旨，版上的发言不是金科玉律，而是分享信息，让广大同学少走
弯路，而不是完全避免弯路。比如你从版上了解到TEXAS不需要学位认证，或者网友告诉
你如何WAIVE 认证的途径，省去你盲目去认证的花费，本版的作用就达到了。总之，自
己的调查研究是不可以免得。

a post doc for 2 yrs after that. Just got a job in FL and company wants me
to transfer PE to FL in 6 months. As for the working experience,Will i get
4 yrs based on FL board? I know phd=1yr + 2 yrs posdoc = 3yrs. Can MS degree
in China be counted as a yr too? That way, I should have 4 yrs.
