Structural Health Monitoring, is available in the Bridge Engineering Center
at InTrans of Iowa State University. Applicants should have a Bachelor
degree in Civil Engineering, or related field. Applicants should have taken
the Structural Dynamics Class and have knowledge of Bridge Design and Finite
Element Analysis at the Department of Civil, Construction & Environmental
Engineering. Applicants who will have a MS degree in May and have a
background in engineering mechanics and rich experience in programming using
Matlab or Visual Basic, is preferable. Previous experience with the
development of damage detection algorithm using dynamic properties of
